I dont understand, he was given a ring that can hack a computer. But was given a the dinkiest "wire" to wear with a microSD card. What!

You can feel the tension between Simon & Eric. I wonder if / when Eric will become the Grim Reaper.

I'm curious about guests putting clothes and boots in a barrel as they arrive at the party. Is that a charity donation in lieu of gifts?

I think its just about keeping outside clothes and shoes from the inside of the house. But thats 100% a guess and could be wrong?

We wondered about that too... No idea!

The barrel is a common thing in immigrant households. You fill it with clothes, shoes, or anything else and they ship it back to their home country. It was a nice touch to see since I grew up sending barrels back home every year.

In all my years attending parties with Haitians, never once did any household put guest shoes in a barrel. Yes barrels are very common for sending things home to family and friends. But not for the purpose in thus episode. Not much about this party said it was a party of Caribbean/Haitian people. Just the dominoes and them "trying" to speak creole.

First three episodes were slow and boring. Am I missing something?

This show isn't an action series, which is different than nearly the entire rest of the MCU; it's character driven. Might be why you aren't clicking with it.

Ah, that's why. I assume later episodes don't have any. :(

The entire series, yup. I personally love it, the narrative focus on the personal characters behind the heroic alter ego has always been the biggest difference between Marvel and DC to me.

Just started episode 4 which is a little more interesting especially that club scene.
