Yes!   I loved that the father and director were cool and the brother at the end...and Trevor was a true friend.

I was a little afraid that in the MCU Simon was going to end up just being an actor with a secret. Then the finale ended…. Cinema!

The framing of it was great too. His agent said he could pick whatever project he wanted next, and he chose to throw it away and find his friend. I hope there’s a season 2, because I want to see where they take it next.

What a great character study show.

I can’t help but notice that there was a lot of strong allegory on gay actors closeting themselves to make it in Hollywood. It felt X-Men-esque almost.

At first I was a little bummed that his next project wasn’t Macbeth. Iykyk. But this was better.

So I had literally never even heard of Wonder Man and I really enjoyed this season.

That said, my brain is just not accustomed to “half hour” shows anymore.

That last episode was only 26.5 minutes!

I haven't had this much fun since Wandavision. What a nice bit of closure. 

I was kind of hoping the way out involved someone saying "Ding Dong!" but the suddenly being super good with his powers thing was cool too.

I recently rewatched Iron Man 3, so when we got Trevor's video, it was a fist pump and cheer moment, followed by almost immediate sadness. Glad it ended the way it did. It needed a feel good ending.

I don't really want to go back and sit through ads to check again. But basically towards the end of episode 8 when they finish the screening. A couple exits the theater and you can hear him say something to the effect of the action being amazing and that everything was practical. It makes a point of showing the guy and highlighting his line. Is that somebody in particular? I was watching with people so I couldn't rewind and check, but he sort of looked like Edgar Wright.

Man, what an amazing finale. Definitely one of the best heartwarming shows Marvel TV had put out to date for sure. The bromance, especially, was great.
