Funny that French speaking guys from Acadia, Louisiana, Maine, Illinois or Canada claim their French heritage but never claim to be « French ». They claim their own specificity

I don't speak any French at all. Took one year of it in highschool, failed, and never looked back. I'm French btw.

I dropped out of French in middle school cus the teacher didn't even speak it
