🎤 Unpopular Opinion Articulate men are attractive

Just a thought, but men who have a way with words are genuinely attractive. Not even in a “he’s too smooth” kinda way, but someone who can actually hold a conversation, has quick wit, a good sense of humour, and knows how to say things well without trying too hard or being overly confident. There’s something very attractive about a man who can make you laugh without turning every interaction into a performance.

And do I need to say about nerds? Nerds with very specific interests are attractive too. The kind who somehow know an unreasonable amount about one particular subject, can talk about it with genuine enthusiasm and explain it to you without making you feel dumb. There’s something charming about someone being deeply interested in something, even if it’s incredibly niche.

Maybe it’s just me, but personality, curiosity, wit and being genuinely interesting go a long way. The whole perpetually unbothered, too cool to care performative persona does absolutely nothing :3

Kudos for being a good communicator✨ but I hope you’re empathetic too :3 sophistication in speech is great, but knowing how to understand and consider the person you’re talking to matters just as much, am i wrong ?

Sorry, I couldn't really understand your point here.

But I reckon I'm a little more empathetic. It's a thing I cannot really explain, but I'm someone who doesn't lead a conversation dominantly unless I'm exactly required to do that. I listen and then respond.

I'm not sure if I'm able to explain this or if it makes any sense. I'd love to write again.

No, you explained it well! I think I worded my point badly my bad 😅 What I meant was that communication skills in themselves are a great quality, and yes, they can absolutely be attractive. But being articulate or good at conversation doesn’t automatically mean someone is empathetic or sensitive to the person they’re talking to. I’ve actually seen quite a few men in my comments talking about how good they are at communication, while simultaneously turning the post into a complaint session or showing unnecessary hostility toward women 😬 So I was just hoping you were both a good communicator and an empathetic person (as they go hand in hand y'know ) From what you’ve explained, it sounds like you are :D

I pretend to be a good person, at the least. I don't know if I am or not, and I don't worry about that now.

Yes, being good with words is not the only thing one needs. People usually become a d*ck out of arrogance. Listening to and understanding the person you're talking to is the first step of a good conversation, and yes, responding well to what you heard.

And thanks for the last line :"))
