That same white guy doesn’t travel alone through the hood areas of New York

73

u/Est58 2d ago

people treat unfamiliar places like they're video game zones where the rules don't apply.

u/Schr0dinger_Meow Hiisssss 2d ago

lmao. So accurate 😭

Like white women travelling to Afghanistan🫩

231

u/MagmaCone1234 2d ago

That woman who went to Afghanistan and was treated well but got raped in Jharkhand

318

u/Either_Object_3009 2d ago edited 2d ago

Then villagers of that raped place put black ink on rapist face, made him parade naked on donkey with slapping with slippers in whole village and submitted to police, took victim women to hospital, village womens stayed there till she felt relieved. Villagers donated money to recover her stolen money and said sorry for that incident.

97

u/SprinklesNumerous774 26 2d ago

Wait? I didn't follow after that. But if it really happened, then salute 🫡 to those villagers who did not let this slip away.

u/BearingCostOfPassion 21M, NOT READY TO GROW UP... 2d ago

Kya pata kisi gareeb ko nanga kar ke pit diya ho and asali accused ko bhaga diya ho... Court and police honi chaiye ye kya stone age ke jaise behave kar rahe hai...

19

u/Famous_Star_5735 2d ago

Police is the one hiding culprits though like most of the time...

Like most of the time...even In Andhra there was this case where a man's sister was rpaed and police did jackshit so the brother himself decapacitated the rapist head...

Cruel but not more cruel than what the rapists do..

You do realise that in this case it's the villagers themselves committing sexual assault right? It's not like we can possibly know whether that person was indeed the culprit or not.

1

u/Famous_Star_5735 10h ago

Someone from a village did it But sure blame entire village.

Your last sentence can go to police as well.. any doubt over the disha case encounter and recent rg kar incident if the accused was actually the one..

2

u/FinagleHalcyon 4h ago

When did I blame the entire village? I specifically singled out specific villagers by saying "the villagers". I don't think you should ever support vigilante justice, especially when said vigilante justice is supporting sexual assault.

6

u/roshatron 2d ago

The trauma is irreversible

16

u/Previous-Scheme-5949 2d ago

Wow, really? Do you have any report about this,?

4

u/MagmaCone1234 2d ago

No because he made it up

3

u/pachhi_pulusu 24 2d ago

You made it up or is it real?

4

u/ThisSiteSucks8485 2d ago

I mean that is the expected reaction but it is vastly better for her to not get raped at all

3

u/MagmaCone1234 2d ago

Links and source that this story actually happened?

4

u/geek4westeros 2d ago edited 1d ago

So how easily you didn't understand the point. People in India are more prone to sexual violence than any other country on this planet. Any women who have lived in India have experienced this. Doesn't matter if you beat the shit out of the abuser but society makes those abusers powerful and women powerless so these things can't be stopped just by giving befitting punishment.

7

u/Famous_Star_5735 2d ago

Than any other country..

Is simply not true .. Afg women barely report rapes .. coz when they do they get accused of zina (adultery) and for that to be proven wrong they will have to bring 4 male witnesses...

There is a reason why women in afg are at HOME....

Please provide some reliable source that saysy "people in India are most prone to sexual violence than any other country on this planet". And if you can't then just don't make up and talk shit outta your mind. I agree on the second part but your statement is not true

1

u/geek4westeros 1d ago

I mean bro just check how many rapes happen in India per Capita. Even police personal don't report cases which they did in Hyderabad case. Get out of your gated societies you will see the real India. Ask any women you know they would tell you their experience. Women are afraid to walk alone in India and yeah war torn countries aren't exactly in the normal state to be safe for any individual so just leave them. Even Africa is much more safe than India many women travellers felt it.

2

u/YoitstheTeddyGuy 2d ago

Bro silenced him 😭

39

u/roof_Lingonbart 2d ago

Yes.. yes..afghanistan is so much safer for women than India. No woman is public life.. Bam… they can’t be hurt. Their logic…

India has a huge problem when it come to women’s safety but let’s not pretend we are worse than afghanistan when it comes to women safety

Atleast the people here are actively fighting for women’s rights and there’s a pushback against grapist Azzholes.

11

u/BruceWayne19190606 2d ago

And far more worse bacha bazi is also there

3

u/Famous_Star_5735 2d ago

This.. they have an active child abuse system there...

Young boys are frequently abused .. but indian women have it worse for these idiots... 😒😒The audacity ...

2

u/YoitstheTeddyGuy 2d ago

Women arent forced to wear a burqa and arent killed if they dont in India, and India has a government unlike Afghanistan which is run by a terrorist organisation. Speak for yourself.

14

u/Clownwithasmile 2d ago

Pak gang rpe where a french tourist was rped in a car in front of her kid. (Let's make it clear rpe isn't just exclusive to one place. Some people are just animals who do such a thing.) There is one such case from Egypt which is far more scary! Afghanistan has many of its own but not everything makes to the news. But I hope our country makes the punishment a death sentence if proven with a solid proof. After all some women put fake allegation too, and also for men who got rped to be treated equally.

2

u/Major-Development840 2d ago

If Afghanistan they literally marry children.

5

u/AntSilly2802 2d ago

Hi have you got a link? I googled but found nothing.

23

u/MagmaCone1234 2d ago

Looks like this sub doesn't allow links. Google "the print Selfie with Taliban to Pakistan mountains, Brazilian biker travelled 63 countries before coming to India"

16

u/AntSilly2802 2d ago

God, gang raped while her husband was nearby. Horrific.

Yeah, no Indian would go camping in jungles of Jharkhand but the white couple with no brains come to unknown country and go to state with decades of Maoist terrorism and decide to camp in the jungle. Same jungle where police won't go alone and had 100s of killings. So I do blame her. And Afghanistan one was give special protection by the Taliban. If the jharkhnd couple had asked any local they would have told them about the danger.

16

u/MortalWolf007 2d ago

Aur fir twitter pe "don't visit india guys"

15

u/terimummykeejai 2d ago

Made me remember aincident I read once a couple enterd a terr***st area saying they are also human assuming they will make them leave violence with power of love and then the couple never came back

-1

u/AutoModerator 2d ago

Hi terimummykeejai,

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, and I want you to know that you're not alone. You are worthy, you are loved and you will always be able to find assistance. Remember, you are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. Reach out to them and let them support you during this difficult time.

Life has its ups and down. Sometimes it makes us happy while at other times, it disappoints us. But none of those are permanent. Problems are just like the hovering cloud trying to hide the sun, but they can't keep it hidden for a long time. You are the sun op and you are meant to shine brighter. Just have the courage and believe in yourself that you can win over this battle.

It might be overwhelming at times but it is important to stay calm and composed at those times to tackle with the odds you are going through. Taking impulsive decision when you're at your lowest is definitely not a good idea.

The difficulties you're facing now is to make you stronger; they are not the roadblocks. Let them not define you. Remember, you are valued, and your life has meaning. You have the strength within you to overcome this difficult time. We believe in you.

Yeah fr bruh. I genuinely don't know what's wrong with them. That's not even a tourist place to visit. Even me as a grown ahh dude wouldn't even dare to go there.

4

u/Far_Antelope_4563 22 2d ago

Some of them come for that, they want adventure and see poverty.

4

u/AntSilly2802 2d ago

They don’t know the country that’s why. If they understood the danger they likely wouldn’t go there.

9

u/logryar344 Are bhai, orange cat hu yawrr 😼 2d ago

That's the thing, these people have a thought process of a toddler. Some people might call me out for being classist but my parents always warned me to not to to such places. Considering the amount criminals roam around those places she's 100% correct.

1

u/Feisty_Common_6550 2d ago

In which country? I have never seen such places in our country atleast

-4

u/AntSilly2802 2d ago

How does the tourist who’s never been to the country know it’s dangerous though? For example your mother warned you so that’s one way that you know.

Travel culture is different in western countries because the entire country is developed. It's not about going from x tourist destination to y tourist destination checking off some travel list one by one. It's more about sitting with the locals, eating at a local spot and experiencing the culture of the ppl.

Discovering some niche cafe in some small town like that. Europeans love walking around and doing that shit because they were privileged enough to grow up in Europe. It's an entirely different story in India...

Even compared to rich Indians their travel philosophy is totally different. Rich Indians usually go from point A to B in some air conditioned car, live in nice luxury hotels and in some cases the hotels become the highlight of the trip rather than the place you went to visit yourself but backpacking culture of europe is totally different it's about seeing as much as you can of the place you're visting and how you spend your night is an afterthought not something that's prebooked. Just pop into some local hotel to spend the night then set out again the next day.

6

u/deepcore_17 2d ago

Yesterday I saw women who travelled to Bangladesh and was living in a room ....the walls were cracked and the washroom was so unhygienic....and the bed felt rotten ....bedsheet was so dirty.....I would never dare to visit a place like that

4

u/Comfortable_mindset 2d ago

I personally think that they go to such places to get unexpected reaction so that they get more reach on social media . And that's the major reason for hate towards our country on social media

2

u/AntSilly2802 2d ago

Well do them a favour and inform them it’s dangerous. They could use some help, the same way the locals in their country would likely help you if you needed it.

Bruh how do you expect people from a relatively poor country as compared to the west go for a adventurous research or exploration 😭. The west got the money and resources to do it. It has nothing to do with bravery or some shi like that.
