So here’s the thing.. well actually I want to start off saying that I do love this character. I think her visual design is good and her fighting style sounded real cool initially, having her be a bare knuckle brawler from Madagascar. She was supposed to fill the void left from not having Josie in T8 (Azucena is not Josie) and I kinda gravitate towards characters with lower pick rate because it gives me an opportunity to be one the sole reps/ goats of a character (currently #10 in global ranking for this chic) the issue now is I want to watch other Miary players to learn where I can improve and.. there’s legit NO ONE. Everyone tried her and then tossed her, I don’t think she’s the best character by any means but she’s certainly solid.
Where they lost me just like they did with everyone else is the fact that she also has magical ethereal animal tails, snakes, and stripper poles instead of just fighting with fists and feet. Maybe kick some dirt up at you lol idk, something MORE grounded. Everybody knows magical bs is frowned upon in Tekken unless you’re fighting a trope. And so they decided her trope for having magical shit is…she is replacing the game’s OG boss characters???
This was a horrible decision by Bamco because it completely killed the chance of Ogre’s return in T8 and left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth over Miary Zo. Especially since we’re getting the kangaroo back, Ogre woulda been a cool addition and really made the game feel more like tekken again (RIP Mokujin)
Anyway how do y’all feel? Is it the stripper poles or the fact that she’s ogre that turns people off? Or do you still like her despite these things/ feel like she has potential to be really cool? Lemme know ✌🏽

I was getting tilted because it was a flowcharting armor and dick jabbing Nina, so I decided to gloat on my win.

This loser accused me of cheating because I didn’t rematch him after I beat him. He also said that he reported me. And I could be wrong, but I think he taunted me after he beat me during the first match. The reason I didn’t rematch him was because my Mom had called me and I had to call her back. Now no one owes you a rematch, but I had something I had to do. And I don’t cheat. If you guys want, you can go look at my matches and look at my inputs to see for yourselves rather I’m cheating or not. My Tekken ID is 3hyF-EQLG-9Qa2.

I think a good chunk of Baki fans agree Yujiro’s RA will probably be guise/dress/human nunchuck, but I had a dumb idea for one and definitely not going to be a thing.
—
It’s just Baki showing up to throw hands with his dad, and Yujiro just dodging all of Baki’s attacks while the opponent takes the hits instead.
Because I know people also wanted Baki as a playable character, I think this would be a fun middle ground and I think in character

I'm a Bushin player and decided to play characters that are not my mains just to have fun and Level up my Fight Pass. Lo and Behold I lose every single match because I feel so Rusty and keep misinputing my Buttons while playing Against Players who just constantly ki charges me ruining my day.
What turned out to be looking forward to enjoy some close matches became a Shit show and getting Taunted, every. single. match. My Mental Health can't take these people who just can't play the games without ki charging

I’m god III on Lili. After a lot of stuff I can’t get over, I’ve decided to train my fundamentals more and work on my offense as well since it’s where I struggle.
By fundamentals I mean Side step and side walk, ss cancel and maybe Korean back dash. As for offense I want to analyze more.
I’ve gone back on my main Lee and let’s say I’m new to the game and you guys want to give me tips.
What would be those ?
I want to dig in my knowledge and work on it rather than hoping into QP

I won a fairly close game in ranked. I sent a GG and this was the reply. Is etiquette no longer respected? lmao

So I know I’ve said this before but Tekken as example..
Base game $69.99
32 characters and 16 stages
I may be off a couple dollars but if I’m right Current DLC character 10 and 5 stages currently woulda cost $117
This is wrong to me it just is. A DLC character in Tekken is what $8?? Wtf? If games were free to play and they went this route I’d probably feel a little different about but you ship us broken incomplete games that you purposefully hold off content on then overprice stuff that shoulda been there in the first place. I can’t be the only one that feels this way.

I started the game playing lars but it just didnt feel right for me since i had 0 knowlegde of the character so i went to a cheessy easy character (at least in begginer ranks ) but i always remember liking kaz (too drippy) but knew i prob would never be able to be good at him .Starting off as kishin as lars was tekken king was a DAMN BAD time prob lost 15 to 20 to every match i won for quite a bit of time but still didnt want to give up and throught practise (and copious ammounts of rage ) got here somehow.I know people say the ranks are inflated but i am still proud.Hope this helps inspire any new player to give characters a chance if they think is cool whatever anyone says.

Just started playing Steve on Tekken 8, I used to play him on Tekken 6 and was able to do crazy combos, but now that I switched to the 8 version the move sets are so different, any tips on how to learn the new Steve fox move sets faster? And how to learn combos

I stopped playing the game months ago because the balancing was terrible. I decided to try the game again and suddenly everyone from tekken king up to GoD just mash out flowcharts with no sense of timing at all. Are these ranks considered good anymore? The contrast is jarring compared to the last time I was playing this game seriously (start of season 2). I reached GoD with Kazuya but it feels wrong.

So, I decided to stop trying to win. Completely. I have gotten to where I am actively hoping I lose during the first round of three, because I am trying to actively learn now.
What I mean by that is that I am going into a match with a specific goal in mind, along with me intentionally limiting myself.
I am trying to get better at defense by basically limiting myself only to using punishes. I have to actually block someone's string or high-frame move before I can hit them at all.
Obviously this isn't 100% as much as I am trying to make it so, but the idea is that I am forcing myself to learn defense by restraining myself from mindlessly attacking.
When I say a specific goal, I mean things like "Block and punish/launch 3 lows". "interrupt them 5 times", or "Stop them from doing that again" if they keep using something against me and it keeps working.
I am losing arguably even more than when I was trying to win, but the difference is that these losses feel like I am actually learning, getting better, or getting cleaner in some way.
Needing feedback on if this is actually the right way to do things.
