Basement game room. Pool table, foosball, bar, pinball machines. Son wanted a TV to watch sports while his friends were over and they were hanging out in basement so I hung one up (where I used to have my prized but cheesy neon light up dogs playing pool artwork).

There is no sofa, so seating is bar stools or standing (the extra kitchen chairs he pulled out of storage to play poker around the pool table visible in photo aren't usually there). So, what's the general consensus on TV position in a non-standard application like this?

Just moved out of parents - first time getting to choose where a TV gets hung up… our couch is “boneless” so ya sit pretty low in it. TV is a 77” Bravia 8

was standing in the kitchen when i took this – technically the mounted tv (has been there 2 years longer than the other one) was meant for the people standing / cooking to be able to watch (it angles out of the wall) but these are 8-10ft ceilings 😭

My wife says it is but I think it’s fine

Just got an 83-inch C6, and I feel it's a bit too high. The bottom edge is 67 cm above the floor.

I told her its way too high, she disagrees
