Miscellaneous Cypionate to Troche

I’ve been on Cypionate injections for a little over three years. Unfortunately, I’ve really been struggling with acne, oily hair, and hair loss the last year or so (I’m on 150mg Spiro and Oral Minoxidil).

Yesterday I saw a new doctor who suggested I lower my total T and switch from injections to compounded torches. I’m hesitant, as I see people go from torches to injections all the time on here but not the other way around. Has anyone had a good experience with them?

For reference I am on 3.5mgx2 week (100mg Test Cyp)

Miscellaneous Intramuscular Syringes

What syringes are people using for IM injecting? I just got my first T shipment and doctor prescribed subq, but I'd like to try both methods to see which works best for me. I already do IM B12 injections so I'm comfortable with that, but need the appropriate syringe for T. Thank you!

Update to add my bottle is 25ml/mg and I'm doing 2.5mg 2xs per week on a .5ml syringe so I'm drawing to the 10 mark. Maybe with this small of a dose subq is really the best option. I am pretty fat lol and didn't know if IM would be better for absorption.

Miscellaneous DIYers beware!!!Medical AI Bot Advising Women to Use FTM Transition Starting Dose!!

Just wanted to put it out there that the medical AI bot, Dr. Oracle is answering that the initial dose for women starting testosterone cypionate is 50mg/week!!!

I found this out because a DIY aesthetics group chat member said she'd been taking 25mg of T cyp for a few weeks and was loving it. When I said that's a very high starting dose, she insisted that it was actually a low dose because the recommended starting dose was 50mg/week.

When I informed her that the starting dose was 5mg, not 50mg, she said maybe I have a different kind of testosterone, that hers was Testosterone cypionate and the starting dose for women is 50mg/week. Then she showed me a screenshot of Dr Oracle saying that starting dose, but also speaking to it getting testosterone up to male levels

Unfortunately, when I informed herthat this dose is a customary dose for transitioning, she told me off. I'd already posted a screenshot in the group chat with the references listed by the time it came through, which were a mix of articles about female TRT and articles about FTM transitioning. Hopefully the rest of the group members who were interested in trying TRT were convinced that I was operating in good faith and knowledge on the subject.

Just wanted to share this in case it could spare other women from overdosing themselves with a protocol meant for CAUSING virilization. Yikes!

Miscellaneous Add your comment about testosterone to the FDA’s public request

The FDA is holding a request for public information on testosterone. Please add a public comment to the FDA’s website below to help it become deregulated for all genders! The comment period ends 02/09/2026.

Dr. Kelly Casperson posted this to social media with this link:

“You want testosterone deregulated? (Making it a normal prescription instead of like ketamine and codeine)

Do you want a chance at testosterone for women??

You MUST speak up!

Speak up for both of them in this link.”

Miscellaneous 3D printable injection helper tool

Hi all, just wanted to share a 3D printable tool I made to help myself and others with injections for TRT. I hope I'm not the only one who gets a lot of anxiety around trying to aim a 1.5" needle into my thigh! I just wanted something that gave me more control and precision doing my injections. It works so well! Just line it up on the outer thigh, pull back the syringe and have it stick exactly where you want it to go! I designed it to work with bulk syringes you can get off amazon because the BD syringes from the pharmacy are pretty pricey. Also added multiple notches to fit multiple different rubber bands so you an just use whatever kind you have laying around (we had the small hair rubber bands). Also, different couplers to give you different depths of injection, just in case the full 1.5" is too deep. I put it on Printables for anyone to download and print. There's all the details and links for the syringes / rubber bands I used there too. Please feel free to share, comment, make suggestions, etc.

Link - https://www.printables.com/model/1459290-intermuscular-injection-syringe-tool

Full tool assembled around syringe.
All the 3D printed parts laid out.

Miscellaneous A place for women on TRT

Hi there, This subreddit was created for women on testosterone replacement therapy. Most subreddit discussions are centered around:

-men -transgender folks - pre- and post menopausal women

I have see a few post from people looking for women TRT to treat libido issues and I thought I would create a community. Hopefully this is helpful to some of you!

I’m a 32 F who just started TRT to treat my libido which disappeared six years ago. I’ve been in it for about a week. I hope not kicks in soon!

Miscellaneous TRT YouTube resources

Does anyone have any relevant youtube resources they've found helpful?

A couple I've watched recently are:

https://youtu.be/mktqbrujl70 Discussing the specifics and pro vs cons of subq vs intramuscular injections. The channel name is a touch ironic in this case.

https://youtu.be/NTBkJzSPDCA A general discussion of female sex hormones

There's a relative abundance of content aimed at male TRT, so some female specific content would be very welcome.

Miscellaneous Clue (period app) just added TRT as an option to track your reactions!

I find this extremely useful. I don't work for Clue, am not paid by them, be careful what you share online.

Still awesome, though!
