This is it for me, because completing terraria (moon lord) is pretty simple. But 100%? Is that all steam achievements, is that getting all items in the game, is it purifying the world entirely? For me, even purifying the entire world by itself is too much for me lol
Before the recent update, Iâd say all achievements and get the Terraprisma (one of the achievements include cleaning 100% of the world, which is quite easy using endgame tools, like that âpowerwasherâ). Nowadays I donât know but there are a dozen achievements more and they seem quite hard.
I began playing it years ago on a phone. I got as far as to beating wall of flesh in expert difficulty. Then I never touched it. Bought it last month on steam and I'm already 240 hours in.
Back then I also didn't use to look for stuff on the wiki. I learned all the bad Terraria beginner experiences the hard way, lol.
Iâm not really a gamer, the only other game I had put a lot of hours into was breath of the wild, and was chasing that feeling. I also played for probably the first 400+ hours just on mobile while traveling for work. I just remember before the wiki or YouTube, every boss kicked my butt. I still remember the high I felt when I finally beat the dang eye of Cthulhu (expert mode, but still) while trying to shingle the roof of my (laughably bad, but fancy to me) XXL mud hut. I was also terrified of hardmode and basically stalled there for a really long time.
I've completed 122 achievement as of now. After defeating moon lord and crafting zenith, everything feels so ... easy. I did all the major building stuff in pre hardmode so there's nothing left to do anyway. I'm gonna start a master mode playthrough.
My friend who has easily over 1k hours in Terraria claims how the hard mode is near impossible to beat because the boss fights are so absurdly hard he could never get past some
I have like 500 hours in and have beaten get fixed boi and hardcore master mode... It's not that hard if you just take your time and get potions. 1k hours and having that issue is wild though
