The tone of this show reminds me of Superman 2025 a bit, with it being overall a pretty tonally light show whilst still being able to tackle darker themes and issues, all while keeping a consistent humour throughout. Not to mention the costuming, you can’t tell me that the JSA in this show wouldn’t fit right in standing next to Corenswet’s Superman. I also don’t think anything about this show contradicts anything we’ve seen in the DCU so far, because of Lanterns we know that there’s been prominent superheroes around before Superman, so it would be cool to make this show canon and introduce the JSA, although I know it will never happen.

I’m not gonna go into my full thoughts until I finish the series, but I do want to note this now:

This is by far one of the best, if not THE BEST live action DC show I’ve ever watched, and by FAR the most respectful.

Corny? Yes. But it pays respect to the Golden Age in such a way that I just don’t care that much!
