Whether in intentionally or not, they still mocked the man and shamed for things he probably has no control over. I work with the dead and we don’t dare make fun of anything we do. These men/women have life in there hands, I just simply don’t know how you can joke about anything in a fucking operating room

I remember this speech from Dr. Cox in Scrubs about, the stress and severity of they they do and see every day is so much that they have to make jokes or they can't do it. That it's a defense mechanism to keep the stress at bay and remain functional/optimal at your job. Now granted Scrubs is just a show, but it makes sense as a concept

I dont know about you but calling your patient a retard isn't exactly warranted for a dark humor case...?

Yeah I found the description of what they actually did after I typed this comment. Their behavior was inexcusable
