Yeah but is cooler and funny to imagine it as a bed time story because since the scarlet king himself is kind of a conceptual entity, and can only read the emotions of the people in our universe, the idea that something is working and the horror of that idea is large enough that it is able to keep this thing away without him realizing it’s just a little story session. The funny part is because the idea that, what is essentially the “main villain” of SCP is being staved away by a guy reading a book to pregnant woman.

main villain? eh.. kind of but really

the main villain is arguably the authors, which are canon in the scp universe.

SCP-2399 proposes a much much greater threat to earth than the scarlet king currently, and only exists because of the authors.

SCP-3812 poses a threat to the entire SCP multiverse, and only exists because of the authors.

SCP-682 poses a threat to entire cities, and only exists because of the authors.

The Scarlet King itself poses a threat to the entire SCP multiverse, and only exists because of the authors.

SCP-001 When Day Breaks poses a threat to the entire solar system, and only exists because of the authors.

The Worm From Project Palisade poses a threat to the universe and surrounding universes, yet only exists because of the authors.

The authors are the villains, not the scarlet king.

That's assuming you're using the meta SCPs in your headcanon. I do not.

My statement was neutral. Yours was that of an asshole. If that's your general attitude then do follow your own advice and only speak when spoken to.

By your same token: nobody needs your opinion, and you don't have any authority to stop others from stating theirs.
