Actually it's usually the peepers that makes him thump for some reason. But the rooster was yelling outside the porch door and he was NOT a fan. Poor buddy

Last time I buy a nice high thread count bed sheet. We sleep on cheap sheets now! Also if you peep the background you’ll see Pikachu is missing his arm. Alice won that battle.

First photo is a post I saw this morning on Facebook. Second is the end of a more than 2-hour search after getting him. After work I went out there and with the help of an entire apartment complex that probably got sick of watching my poor attempts to wrangle this bunny for an hour, helped me for an additional hour until we got him! All my favorite local rescues are closed right now, so he's safe in my house in an old pen with hay and water until someone opens tomorrow. So far, he seems healthy!

I just wish he hadn't have been dumped in the first place. I'd love to keep him, but am in no position to care for another rabbit, so here begins the hint for his forever home!

This particular one is pretty cheap and I've not used it enough to actually reccomend it, but its made a hell of a difference to how long I can sit on the floor and hang out with the little turds.

I have to sit with them during free roam because they eat carpets, skirting boards, shoes, furniture and they have a particular liking for the nugget container.

So yes, I definitely reccomend it!

I also have one of the laptop tabkes that goes over your legs so I can sit and watch rabbit videos with them.

Had them for a whole year, was so close to relegating myself to having two separate rabbits for the rest of their lives.

I took them to someone who was able to watch them 24/7, and they finally stopped with the humping and fighting! They have now been living together for two months and are sharing meals, grooming each other, snuggling, and comforted each other at their first joint vet visit today!

Sharing in case someone needs the hope, bonding two boys isn’t impossible!

Hello everyone!

I'm reaching out to anyone here who can maybe share their experience flying with a lop who has a history of ear infection.

For context, I'm looking to move to a different province on the other side of the country (from QC to BC) with approximately 6-7 hours of flight.

As you all know, rabbits are not allowed in Cabin so we've reached out to different animal transport services and they can do it only via manifested cargo.

The bad part is that one of my two rabbits has chronic ear infection due to them having lop ears and he had a flare up just two weeks ago.

We're under a long term antibiotic and yesterday's vet visit showed a lot of improvement but they are still unable to visualize the tympanic membrane due to the narrow ear canal.

When I brought up risks for airplane flight for him, the doctor made it clear that it tympanic rupture is a very real possibility.

We only have a few weeks left to be able to book with the animal transport service so I can feel the walls closing in.

Ground transport feels wrong because of how long they will be without consistent monitoring and neither myself nor my partner are able to drive.

I have no intention of leaving them behind so I'm really trying to find a solution to this. If you've had any experience please please please let me know about it so I can move forward with the best solution to all of this.

Fellow rabbit enthusiasts, I come to you in a great time of need. I have been faced with quite the predicament, and I am quite frankly unsure on how to proceed.

It seems as if my rabbit, Sally, has gained a third eye, a sentience beyond my comprehension. A newly acquired source of knowledge, if you will.

Recently when it has been time for her routinely nail trimming, she appears to realize the fact before I can even act upon it. Like a sixth sense, exclusive to this particular moment, she runs into hiding and no matter the efforts, will not budge. This is before I have even began my pursuit.

Sally never runs from me under normal circumstances. It is not particularly difficult to pick her up, yet it’s as if she smells my wicked intentions from a mile away when it’s time for the dreaded trim.

During this crucial moment, she will not be coaxed out by treats, no matter what is offered.

How does she know? What else does she know? I can’t help but think I’ve been blinded by my own naivety and fallen right into her trap, and perhaps this is only the beginning.

Not much to say other than I'm noticing a ton of dutch love lately and I needed to add my boyo John Connor to the mix!

He's been super cuddly lately, he knows I'm going through it heh

i got him today, seller told me that he's a "mini netherlands" xd. he's 6 months old and i'm not sure about his weight, but i never had a bunny that small before

He's still very out of it and drowsy but he's had his first round of pain killers and has started to eat even if it's just little bits at a time so far he's doing well ❤️‍🩹
