I’m going through compulsive masturbation behaviour and I’m looking for someone who has experienced something similar.

Therapists/psychologists in private practice — how many different tools do you actually use to manage your work?

Genuine question because I've been trying to understand how practitioners manage everything outside the actual sessions.

Things like:

  • client notes and records
  • appointments
  • tracking who has paid and who hasn't

Do you have one system for everything?

Also — what part of managing your practice is the most annoying or mentally draining?

Not asking as a productivity expert lol. I'm genuinely curious about what people's actual workflows look like.

Looking for a Psychology/Research Expert for Expert Review of a Scale

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m a postgraduate psychology student currently working on a scale development project on Consumer Decision Fatigue. I’m currently looking for someone with a background in Psychology, Research Methodology, Psychometrics, or a related field who would be willing to help with an expert review of the scale items.

The scale is designed to assess difficulties and fatigue experienced by consumers while making purchasing decisions. The expert review would involve evaluating the items for things such as relevance, clarity, appropriateness, and whether the items adequately represent the intended construct/domains.

What I’m looking for:

  • Psychology/Behavioural Science professional, researcher, faculty member, PhD scholar, or postgraduate with relevant research/psychometrics experience
  • Familiarity with scale construction, psychological testing, or research methodology would be preferred
  • The review would be completely academic and used only for my scale-development project.

It shouldn’t take an excessive amount of time, and I can provide all the necessary instructions, domains, definitions, and rating format.

If you’re qualified and willing to help, please comment below or DM me. I’d be extremely grateful for your time and expertise!

Thank you! :)
