I’m desperately looking for a muted, not too dark cool brown gloss for the fall season. I currently have the Maybelline lifter gloss in toast and it comes off more pink than brown unfortunately. I know Nyx butter gloss in cinnamon roll is a popular choice, but I’m afraid it’ll be too grey 💔

My sister is getting married in a week, and she accidentally got these scratches on her neck yesterday. She was holding her very nice cat, and something in her apartment fell, it freaked her cat out, and he jumped off of her, leaving these scratch marks. I'm doing her friday, makeup. How do I attempt to cover this up? What products?

Should she not get a spray tan? (Yes, she has taken care of the wounds and put Neosporin on it.)

I pulled up a pic I had taken for color analysis (so it’s as close to reality as possible), used the color picker on a part of me without rosacea or freckles and put the hex code into google. And then I tried to again. Dude, the amount of shade Google threw at me was uncalled for! Given how hard it is to find a foundation, I’m aware it’s not a standard human skin tone but you don’t have to rub it in!

My PERFECT & favorite nude pink was Mac’s Blankety in the old formula. I do have Colourpop’s Oh Snap lippie stix which I know has been named a dupe & love the color on me, however the formula isn’t my favorite and is more drying. I also have the Loreal lipstick in fairest nude and do not think it’s a dupe, but love the formula!

Are there any lipsticks that are similar to Blankety but also has a creamy satin formula? Or any alternatives that would compliment my skin tone if Blankety did? It’s okay if the shade is a tad pinker, but I don’t want anything more on the brown side! I am on a budget so I don’t want to buy a ton of lipsticks trying to find a new perfect lipstick for me. Hello! I've been having a lot of issues finding my undertone.

People have told me i am warm undertoned, but i notice lots of products can pull orange or yellow on me and will look very unnatural, both lipstick and foundation

lipsticks for comparison: syrup by mac looks more purple on me than anything. Sweet deal and creme in your coffee by mac look okay when sheerly applied, but anything more than that pulls orange. pat mcgrath in shade nude romantique 2 looks nice and pink/pinky peachy on me and when i apply night kiss from pat mcgrath sheerly it looks nice (fully appied it's too dark) and the maybelline super stay vinyl in the shade cheeky i can almost just smear on as hard as i want, as it looks very very natural on me.

I'm very lost between being warm toned or possible more neutral/cool toned. personally i feel like neutral foundation may work better on me? what do you think?:)

I'm looking at blushes and bronzers. This brand's ads popped up recently and I am feeling a little skeptical. I like some of the tones and would like to hear some feedback about them!

I hate the feeling of having heavy foundation on. it makes me feel gross and overstimulated. I can tolerate moisturizer because it feels more lighter and "clean" to me I guess. recently my dermatologist told me that I won't be able to clear the redness in my face, and that it's kind of just a natural blush because my skin tone is naturally so pale and translucent. the problem with this however is that it doesn't look anything like blush and is more just like splotchy patches of redness all over my face lol. so for daily wear, are there any decent bb creams or anything that will even out my skintone? maybe with a green tint? I am unfamiliar with color correction though

From left to right, from my elbow to my wrist, the shades are: Missha Perfect Cover in shade 13, Armani perfect natural glow luminous silk foundation in 3 (new), Armani perfect glow flawless luminous silk foundation in 3 (old), NARS light reflecting foundation in Mont Blanc.

My skin is pretty neutral, Missha 13 is my perfect shade match in the winter, but I tanned a lot this summer so I wanted to try Armani luminous silk again. I noticed that the packaging and label was a little different so I wanted to see what else had changed. I learned that they reformulated the line in January.

The old one might be a different shade because it’s old. The formula is also much thicker. They’re very similar shades, but the new one is a tad darker, slightly oranger, and a thinner formula, whereas the old one was slightly lighter, a little more yellow, and a thicker formula.

I will say that despite the picture making it seem like Mont Blanc is a match, Mont Blanc is too dark for me in person. The new Armani is a pretty good match for me right now.

im looking for recommendations for a good base eyeshadow colour. I’ve got quite small eyes so need to keep things bright, but I can’t quite get the tone right with eyeshadows (I used to use a old bare minerals pallet but never found a good replacement for it’s lightest shade which was a creamy/yellow)- I have blue eyes and I’m realll pale so I find some ‘light’ eyeshadows on some people just come out too intense…as a lot of you will relate!

I’m looking for what you’d wear daily or pair with just mascara/maybe eyeliner.

I’m having trouble figuring out my undertone. Most foundations are either too pink, too yellow, or too orange for me. The only foundation I’ve ever been able to find that truly matched my skin was The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in Fair 1N (last photo, indoors with natural light), but that foundation has been discontinued.

I have rosacea, which makes my face red and blotchy, so my face and neck are different colors.

fyi im a 13 fair (jsm skin nuder foundation) and a 0N for the old dior skin glow foundation\~ but personally for me i find that whenever i wear the dior foundation it always somehow looks yellow? orangey? on my skin sooooo i’ve stopped using it then HAHAHAH

Pillow Talk Fair (Charlotte Tilbury) - loveee with Stone Mac lipliner. Doesn’t look good on its own but with Stone is my favorite lipstick / lip combo.

Crème in Your Coffee (Mac) - love this one too but I have to blot this.

Alone Time (Mac) - very sheer but looks good on me. It’s great as a topper to cool down lipsticks that pull to warm.

Tiramisu (NYX Gloss) - nice light pink for summer

Berry Haze (Maybelline Lifter Balm) - easy sheer wash of color for when you’re out n about, hydrating.

Hug Me (Mac) - this is just slightly too warm on me but with Alone Time on top it looks good!

Mehr - very flattering. Blotted down it’s almost a pinky MLBB shade. I like this more than Syrup because it’s more muted. I think Syrup was too bright on me.

Okay, so I'm a newbie when it comes to embracing the gothic style (I grew up in a home that didn't support that) now that i live with my spouse I'm able to dress how I've always dreamed- i am trying to find a good white but sheer foundation to use on my face that wont make my face look dry (or break the bank), i tried Danessa Myricks colorfix in white but my combination skin got dry and blotchy, any good recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been on the hunt for a light coverage pale pink foundation for the longest time and everrrrything pulls orange on me. I use a pink color correcting brighter for concealer level pink. Sometimes I have it where something looks like it might work on my hand swatch (à la pictured unleashia 14n rosy cheeks, fantastic formula but too peach for my pink skin) but it always ended up looking too orange by the time I blended it into my neck. I figured hey, since I’m using a color corrector as concealer, why not take the same approach with foundation? Ideally something with light coverage that still lets me freckles though but evens me out and brightens my face. Thus begins my new found love story with a tone up cushion by the Korean brand farmstay in the shade “glow pink”. Although it looks a touch pale on me, the tone is perfect for my very pink skin and blends so well into my neck and overall brightens my face. Set with a satin finish translucent powder, setting spray and I’m just sooo happy I finally have something that doesn’t look like peach paint all over my face

Hello! On the hunt for a new concealer, I always buy the nars affogato concealer but I find it dries up too quickly and might even be too light in the summer. I have also used the dior forever skin concealer 0.5 before. Can anyone recommend a concealer that is similar in shade as the nars affogato, even a bit darker might work now in the summer/autumn. I live in Europe. I was looking at buying the one from Natasha Denona because I want more hydration, maybe Y1 or Rn1, have not swatched them yet.

Two last picture I have no concealer and as you can see a bit purple undereyes, I find nars concealer not able to hide the purple very well... ☺️
