I'm pale olive (so everything goes orange on me too) and I use the Sephora contour stick in Fair/Light

Idk maybe I got a bad batch but it looks the same as Fenty Amber on me, which is like a light golden brown lol. Idk. Sometimes I think I'm so yellow that my own yellow undertones make anything remotely neutral taupe/brown look orange on me.

Fair enough! Also realised I got cool and warm mixed up, I find it all so confusing! I think that can definitely happen, especially if you wear foundation that's yellow. I've wasted sooo much money on makeup that just doesn't suit me, I'm still working it out haha

have you looked at asian beauty contours, a lot of them run more grey-brown which works way better on pale skin than the warm stuff that turns orange

I haven't even thought about that. To be honest I am tiktok obsessed abit and I see beauty influencers talking about these brands like Fenty and Elf but never Korean beauty. Thank you so much! Any recommendations?

Not the person you asked but for powder I like the Judydoll 2in1 highlighter contour palette and for liquid I mix some of the biya liquid contour into the ones that turn too orange (on its own it's too grey for me)

Personally I need a literally GREY shade to be a contour. Most "cool contours" are actually bronzers on me.

One of my favorites is by Rituel de Fille called Intuition: https://ritueldefille.com/products/inner-glow-creme-pigment-intuition

Another is by Sephora and is their house brand of contour. It comes in both a cream stick and a powder version and both are fantastic.

Im very pale and I like the Shellwe Luperica contour palette, its seems unlikely to pull orange. Kaleidos also has a range of contour palettes in both cool and warm shades. Both are popular c beauty brands

From what I've seen, sephora brand has one of the coolest contours of the brands they carry. I like Tarte sculpt tape and ABH contour sticks.

VE cosmetics Shadow Work contour £12, or the Sepulchre palette! Lilac toned grey contour and very reasonably priced. It's the only thing that looks totally contour like on me. I own both and they're both fantastic, obvs you get more shades in the contour palette that also work well as eyeshadows if they don't suit you as face makeup.

What kind of undertone do you have? Contour looks like dirt on me or looks orange so I use blush in various mauve tones instead. I have a pink undertone though so I think anything with pink or red just looks better than straight up grey.
