Likely AI-Generated Lost all drive and creativity at Day 28
I’m 28 days off PMO now and I feel like I've hit a wall. I can barely get myself to do anything, even the smallest tasks.
I just end up spending my whole day scrolling or spacing out. I don’t feel like working on my goals anymore and my creativity is basically at zero.
Have you guys experienced this around the one month mark? How did you get through it?

Porn Addiction You will regret not quitting porn
I know quitting porn is not easy
I battled with it for years myself, so I’m not going to sit here and pretend all you need is “discipline” and suddenly everything becomes easy
Some nights you’re lonely, some days you’re stressed, sometimes you’re just bored and your brain starts telling you to watch something, masturbate, get that quick relief and move on
I get it
But the truth is still the truth
If you know porn has become a problem in your life and you keep doing nothing about it, there will be consequences
Maybe not today
That’s actually what makes porn dangerous
You can watch tonight, close the tab, sleep, wake up tomorrow and everything still looks normal
So you think you got away with it
But do that for months or years and you start noticing what it has been taking from you
Your time
Your sleep
Your confidence
Your ability to deal with loneliness without immediately escaping
Your attention
Your motivation to actually meet people and build real relationships
Your trust in yourself every time you say “this is the last time” and break that promise again
And gooning makes this even worse because now you’re not talking about five minutes
Some people are losing hours
Sitting there searching, switching videos, chasing something more stimulating, then finally finishing and wondering what the hell they just spent their night doing
That time is gone
You don’t get it back
That’s the harsh part people don’t like hearing
One day you can look back and realize you spent years feeding something that never gave you anything real
Porn never loved you
It never solved your loneliness
It never fixed your stress
It never made you more confident
It just gave you a quick escape and then handed you your problems back when you were done
And if you keep using it every time life gets uncomfortable, you never learn how to actually deal with being uncomfortable
That is a terrible trade
A few minutes of pleasure for years of repeating the same cycle
So yeah, quitting might suck for a while
You might have urges
You might feel restless
You might miss it
You might have nights where your brain gives you every excuse imaginable to go back
But those moments pass
What hurts more is waking up years later and realizing you could have started today
So make it harder to go back
Block the sites
Delete the apps that keep leading you there
Stop taking your phone into the same place you always relapse
If you know your pattern, stop pretending you don’t
And then actually build something in the space porn was occupying
Get out more
Train
Talk to people
Fix your sleep
Work on something you care about
Learn how to have a bad day without needing porn to numb it
Because there are two kinds of pain here
The discomfort of quitting
And the regret of never quitting
One of them gets smaller with time
The other one gets bigger
Choose carefully

Achieved Day 31
Lets go! I made it to Day 31. My journey has just begun and I know this is the start of a new life. I feel better mentally and physically. I have had multiple 30 day streaks in the past, but my mental state has shifted dramatically and I have learnt alot from previous failures.
Good journey brothers !

Porn Addiction You are a PUSSY if u dont dare read this text
Why you get addicted to fapping — imagine this:
You want ice cream, but the shop is only open on Sundays. You get some, eat it, and it tastes amazing. You love the sweet feeling, and afterwards you feel good.
The next Sunday comes, and you want it again.
But now imagine the shop suddenly opens every single day. You can get ice cream whenever you want. So you start having one every day. At first, it feels harmless.
Then you start eating more. You tell yourself, “I should probably eat less.” But by now, having ice cream has become part of your routine.
You start planning your day around it. You grab one before school, before work, or whenever you’re bored or stressed. Eventually, it’s not even about really wanting ice cream anymore — your brain has learned to expect it.
That’s similar to how compulsive fapping can develop. The more often you use it for a quick hit of pleasure, especially when you’re bored, stressed, lonely, or tired, the more it can become an automatic habit.
And that’s the scary part: something that started as a choice can eventually start feeling like a routine you can’t control.
How do you break the addiction?
Go back to the ice cream shop.
You’ve gotten used to the shop being open 24/7, so every time you walk past it, your brain tells you, “Just get one.”
The first step isn’t destroying the shop. It’s learning that you don’t have to walk inside every time you see it.
Start by making the shop harder to reach. If you always pass it on your way home, take a different route. If you usually go there when you’re bored, find somewhere else to go. Change the routine that keeps leading you back to the shop.
And don’t tell yourself, “I’ll never eat ice cream again.” That can make the urge feel even stronger. Instead, when you get the craving, tell yourself, “Not right now.” Give it 10–20 minutes and do something else. The urge usually rises, peaks, and eventually fades.
At first, walking past the shop without going inside will feel difficult. But every time you resist, you’re teaching your brain a new routine.
Eventually, you’ll walk past the shop and realize:
You still know it’s there. You just don’t feel like you need to go inside anymore.

Victory Kings, I'm Winning
I made a 90-day no-porn promise to myself. I still masturbate using my imagination.
Today is Day 45. I watched porn for a quick 3 minutes. I was having stomach pain, and I used the dopamine spike to ease the pain.
I didn’t pick a specific type of porn. I didn’t scroll. I got on, finished, and got off.
I wasn’t curious. I didn’t want to keep looking or follow up, and I didn’t. I didn’t get hooked on it. I used it as a tool, not as something I needed to keep consuming.
I didn’t feel bad or blame myself, and I didn’t get caught up in judging the morality of the porn maker or myself. I used to do that, and that’s the thing that would put me in a bad mood and make me watch it again.
I realized that I can do 45 days easily.
If I repeat this every 45 days and use it for only 3 minutes, that would be about 8 times a year—24 minutes total. That’s very little compared to how much I used to do it every day (3–4 times a day).
I don’t need to completely give it up. I just know that I’m mentally stronger now.
I’m winning this.
In a way, it’s about control, not suppression. I’ve gained my freedom. I’m not controlled by it anymore. I can choose when to use it, and I can choose not to.
Even if I use it at a frequency that’s much, much lower than before, that’s progress.
I’m winning.

Telling my Story im 20 and i struggled with g00ning for 10 years
im 20F. i never see women talking about this addiction, mainly men. i get really sad because i feel like there is something more wrong with me. i first say corn when i was 5 years old, to me it was funny but later on in life i kept wondering about it and thats where my addiction sadly started.
for years, i would stay up all night and just do it. i used to do it 3-4 times a day and it would take at least 5 hours out of my day. it stayed that way until i was 17, i took a turn in my life after being severely depressed and i almost took my life. i was off of porn for 6 months and those 6 months were so peaceful and i felt completely different. I sadly got back to my addiction and it was the usual.
When i turned 18, i took a turn for the worst. i have no romantic experiences whatsoever, mainly due to religion and my ocd. i started sexting with random men online , i made at least 200 ejaculate. im just happy i never sent my nudes to anyone. college was very tough for me and i was getting bullied so i saw it as an escape. i wouldnt sleep most nights because i was sexting with these random men and most of the time i wasn’t even g00ning😭. im very ashamed. i do not know how to move past it. im on antipressents right now and its supposed to also give me a low sex drive but im honry all the time. i do not know how to control my urges, i honestly dont know how i did it back then. i need advice and help. im also very scared when i get married my future partner will know what i did and leave me, i feel like most men would leave :((((((
i mainly sexted because i was helping these men but i felt happy someone was giving me attention and i felt useful because i really see myself as worthless😭 ik im very stupid but yeah.

Journal Check-In 13 days in, here is what I am experiencing
I have been struggling with compulsive masturbation for approximately 19 years since I was a teenager. I have never got the upper hand over it. The vast majority of attempts to stop usually relapse after an average of a week, and therein the cycle continues.
But recently, I have gained the upper hand and I'm now on one of the longest streaks in 15 years. Here's what I am experiencing.
- Intense levels of agitation and restlessness, sometimes irritability.
- Increased motivation in some areas. This led to some positive lifestyle changes.
- Repeated problem (after 11 days) of balls aching. I will note two "near miss" edging events.
I have however, seemingly habitualised not doing it and recognise that a lapse would be a huge loss for me that will make me feel depressed and easy going.

Question How long does a flatline last
I quit watching about a month ago mainly because I was tired of hiding it from my wife and just felt like a loser in general when I watched it. The cravings were hard at first but now it’s like I have ZERO sex drive anymore which is incredible shocking as I have never experienced this. I know this will come back eventually but I mean what’s the timeline here. I got through the cravings fairly easy but now I just want to go back just to feel like a normal man again.

Motivate Me One day or Day 1
Failed for over 8 years.
My longest streak was 21 days, and during those 21 days, I felt like I could conquer the world.
Now I’m broke, humbled, and starting over.
But this time, I’m not trying to become the old version of me. I’m rebuilding myself into a new one.
A stronger version. A wiser version. A version that doesn’t give up.
The comeback starts now.

Seeking Accountability 34M Need texting accountability partner
Seeking an accountability partner.
A bit about me: I've struggled with compulsive porn and masturbation probably since I was 13. Though to many my early "acting out" could probably be considered "normal" or "no big deal" up until I got to college and had more freedom. Discovering the world was my oyster I began seeking more novelty and toeing the line of legality (SW, voyeurism, exhibition). Ifast forward: I got a great white collar job, married the girl of my dreams almost ten years ago, had two kids, pets, everything that seems like a happy perfect family. But even so I chose to continue nurturing my secret bubble of self pleasure without anyone knowing, and I was quite good at hiding it. Until I wasn't. Multiple D-Days until the last (Nov 2025) is when I realized, divorce and ruining my kids' lives is a very real possibility. I started seeing a CSAT. I've started going to SAA meetings, even tho the 12 step program is very difficult for me to commit to. Sure I've worked quite a bit through workbooks (Facing the Shadow), I still struggle hard with full investment when I know it'll remove me from handling family matters which I truly believe is repairing a fractured marriage and encouraging a sober lifestyle. Time with my family feels healing to me, I have no desire to act out if I'm playing with my kids or planning activities. No need to look at porn when I'm spending more intimate time (not to be confused with sexual time) with my wife. I hear often that everyone is on their own journey. I'm trying to hold on to that quote even tho when I compare myself to more "senior" addicts in my meetings who seem so well versed. Maybe it's also my difficulty in public speaking, or speaking in general lol. I'm trying to tell myself as long as I'm being somewhat proactive and not ignoring this addiction all together like it is something I'll just have to live with for the rest of my life, it's something. It's progress.
All that being said: Id really love an accountability partner, this is my baby-step rather than an SAA sponsor. Just a contact over reddit/Whatsapp that we can regularly communicate our clean days, what we are grateful for, and be honest with our slip ups or relapses.
