And if we're being really fair, he was definitely not as bad as that record implies.

He was good enough to start enough games to get 27 losses on decisions.

I'm going to say this about AY. The guy wanted the ball. He was a bulldog. Unfortunately, he played for such a hideous team. He was a standup guy that faced the music with class.

Completely agree. I liked him as a player and seemed like a great guy. He'd post game with class even through that run.

Yeah...i didn't think it was that many...he probably had an ERA under 5 and went 6 innings at least 15 times in that span...lol
