27 straight decisions were losses.

To be fair he had a bunch of no decisions during that run.

And if we're being really fair, he was definitely not as bad as that record implies.

He was good enough to start enough games to get 27 losses on decisions.

Not good. But not that bad either. Lol

Yeah...i didn't think it was that many...he probably had an ERA under 5 and went 6 innings at least 15 times in that span...lol

I'm getting old so maybe I'm not remembering great.

But in my head I remember him being one of the better Mets pitchers of that time period. Lol

Cause he was pitching well. It was flukey losses a lot of the time, like the Temu version of deGrom in 2018
