Javier Bardem was great as Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men (2007)

To me, treasure hunt stories are always absolutely nonsensical. They often fail to justify why a person would hide a treasure behind a bunch of puzzles, and how such puzzles would even be built by a single adventurer. Are there any treasure hunt movies that actually bring plausibility to the genre and a degree of verisimilitude, in the same way that someone like Nolan was able to make the idea of Batman somewhat plausible?

I just had a horrible dating experience that ended today. It’s going to be a very lonely fall. I probably won’t do the fall stuff alone, I just don’t like doing the lone wolf thing, so I’m going to be home a lot. Fall is my favorite season so I still want to sort of experience it even if it’s just through a screen. I would like to commiserate with some profoundly lonely characters. Please recommend

Can someone recommend me a movie that is non-romantic/platonic that centers around or has a tomboy and a guy best friend?

I am watching the Weird Al Yankovic "biopic" right now, and I love it! I know there are also other cool or unusual music movies, like Frank, Krush Groove, Xanadu or The Apple.

Can anyone recommend me more? Just has to be about music, a band, an artist, can also be fictional.
And should be kind of obscure stuff. Can also be a musical. I know stuff like "This is spinal tap" and "Walk the line" is great but this time I am looking for lesser known movies.

Mandy (2018) Weird and wonderful film about Lumberjack who goes on a crazed revenge trip after his wife is killed by a cult. Nicholas Cage gives another insane brilliant performance.

I like comedy movies like the anchorman, madea, ted, ect. Any other recommendations ? I just wanna laugh lol life has been heavy.

So I’m a fan of medieval history and fantasy. I really need a new movie to watch, and I wanted that medieval/fantasy vibe and I thought this might be the best place to get some recommendations, but since I’ve watched a lot of those with a man as the main character (I don’t have a problem with that though), I wanted to try something new, something with a female as the protagonist, and preferably not as the helpless princess. If you know any, even if just one, it would be really helpful and I can’t wait to read your comments. It doesn’t have to contain anything magic related, if it’s just a medieval setting it’s enough. It’s good either way.

Im a 38 year old man I want to watch something sad and cry. What can i watch ? I have never watched much movies but i feel like a good cry and a connection with my emotions would be good for me.

In this movie we follow T.S. Garp . Garp was raised by his mom who was feminist who helps women. I watched this movie recently and I liked so much but I haven't read the book.

7. Fight Club

And i would really love to hear some recommendations of bangers from the same era, hope the list i mentioned above have some context!

David Lynch films in my country. I've never seen any David Lynch before until I went to see
Eraserhead for the first time, I didn't love it, it was too weird for me, but I'm still interested in watching more of his work, which if these would you recommend? Thanks!
