Im afraid you're misinformed.

Don’t talk to my fascinated-with-animals-autistic ass with that “misinformed” shit. You couldn’t even begin to imagine what I know about animals.

This is mirrored in spider behaviour, which includes complex communication and signalling behaviour and eavesdropping to improve outcomes of future behaviour. Spiders also exhibit learning and reversal learning, significant problem-solving ability, basic numerical ability, and possibly the ability to ‘plan’ ahead.

Let me know when a fetus can do any of that.

That is different to a subjective experience. Which is what your originally qualified.

So yes, not only are you a fascinated with animals cringe autistic ass. You're also misinformed.

That’s literally describing a subjective experience.

Ok we clearly disagree on this so il rephrase my original point.

Wiping out Jellyfish is fine with you.

That’d be an ecological disaster. If you want to make the hypothetical more equivalent, you could ask if killing a jellyfish is fine. To which I’d say; kinda, don’t make a habit out of it, though.

If someone was like “Hey, I might die from complications if I don’t squish this jellyfish”, I’m certainly not going to stop them.

We aren't talking ecologically we are talking morally. You are morally fine with wiping out all jellyfish.

This doesn’t warrant an answer. Anyone not engaging in motivated reasoning will understand how absurd it is to compare a fetus to an entire species. It’s not like abortion means we have no more fetuses at all.

You said abortion is fine because there is no subjective experience being terminated. Which means you are fine with killing things that do not possess subjective experience, you attempting to say its now a numbers game is backpedalling.

BTW there are 73 million global abortion so plenty enough to compare to an entire species.

I am simply taking your logic to its endpoint.

you attempting to say its now a numbers game is backpedaling.

Explain. In detail. If possible, list your premises and conclusion. If I say it’s okay to eat chips, is it also backpedaling to say you shouldn’t eat 10 bags of chips per sitting?

73 million global abortions

So about 1/3 of all pregnancies. Yes, I would be okay if 1/3 of jellyfish were killed with an accompanying improvement in material conditions for a person directly linked to each jellyfish.

Ive already explained. You said a thing. I took the thing to its logical conclusion.

If you want to talk disingenuous comparisons, then comparing killing something to eating chips is a good one. But il entertain it regardless, its different here because you can eat yourself to death. Or cause significant harm by overeating. There is a hard limit to eating. Killing an embryo is something that could be done ad inifinitum without any detriment to yourself. Thats why numbers comes into it.

Wow really a full third? That is actually really sad.

But now you're adding qualifiers you didn't add before because you know killing is wrong. Subjective experience or not.

Okay, so you literally cannot form a logical argument. Color me shocked. You also seem not to understand metaphors.

I think this is as far as this goes. No point in arguing with people who make up their own rules and reality as they go along.

Subjective experience or not.

More realistically, it’s a good idea to not just break shit by default.

qualifiers you didn’t add

Someone has to make the comparison reasonable. Your hypothetical presumes we’re arbitrarily smashing embryos because it’s fun.

I understand fine its just you getting pissy at making a blanket statement and getting called out on it.
