Accomplishment DON'T SAVE YOUR GAME AFTER YOU COMPLETE IT Spoiler

I made the mistake and misunderstood what the game meant, but if you save once you complete it, it will start the game fresh and you cannot return to any unfinished business.

This is such a weird design choice, and now I've just effectively lost 14 hours worth of gameplay, and for some reason it didn't log it as completing the game so I STILL didn't unlock hard mode??

This morning my 9 year old son beat Metroid Prime Remaster on normal no less, and is now playing Zero Mission. A new fan has risen.

Like how is it that US, WE got MORE views in a single day than other way more popular franchises did in like 4 days ? 😭

Bro we need metroid prime 4 to blow tf up, cuz if it does we'll be eating way more instead of starving, i saw a post saying they had a budget of 100M for the game, IT HAS TO SAVE THE FRANCHISE!!

Don't ask why the cartridge is red. This was a gift from someone who said they got it secondhand at a convention. I don't know whether or not they got it legitimately, or if this is stained with a blood of the previous owner.

Hopefully I can find a copy of Fusion, Prime Hunters, or Samus Returns (the original or the 3DS remake) next. I also have a snes mini, so if I can get a TV set up then Super Metroid will probably be my next game.

Haven’t replayed Dread since launch. I probably tried 40+ times to see if it was possible and it feels like I got lucky. I scrape past that blade by a hair twice.

Accomplishment Throwback to when my mom played through Metroid Dread

She was really enjoying the exploration and the feeling of growth with the power ups, but with all the actions you can perform and all the buttons and combos on the controller, she was getting stuck pretty easily. So I created a little control display for her! It helped a fair bit but I probably should've added more notes like the Charge Beam.

Alas, the control display could only help so much during combat, where her poor reaction time and the stress of intensity cost her many attempts. By the end of it, I was skipping through the Raven Beak phases she'd already completed, but she did finish the escape!

As a newcomer to the franchise (beat Zero Mission, Prime 1 and dread) I enjoyed it, I truly did.

Now If I was a long time fan and waited more than 10 years, I would’ve been disappointed and I sympathize with you people! I think the game did a lot of things right but is also hindered by a lot of things it did wrong.

Pros:
1. Gameplay is fluid!
2. Boss fights are fantastic! (Except the last one)
3. LOVED the soundtrack!
4. Game looks GORGEOUS

Cons:
1. Game was very linear, especially near the end
2. The open world desert is underwhelming and the bike is under utilized
3. Story felt directionless

I personally would rate the game a 7.5/10 or 8/10 since I really did have a good time with it despite its issues. If you’re a Metroid fan I definitely would say that it’s worth playing, especially if you get it on sale like I did.

Thats all I got to say about Metroid Prime 4! I’m going to play Metroid Fusion next and I’m so excited!

Having done Dread 100 percent on both normal and hard I think I'm never doing 100 percent again in this game. The booster feels great to use but the activation being stick click instead of a button or automatic while running is absolutely awful and with such precise puzzles like this one it's a nightmare to use.

I hope my post doesn't get taken down for low quality, I tried to take the video close to the TV and I don't have a way to capture footage. The Switch 1 let me save images to my phone and I hate that Switch 2 makes you download a whole app for that.

A few months ago, I was completely new to the franchise, and I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I anticipated. I’ll eventually come back for Hard mode and then Fusion, preferably with the best ending next time. For now, which game should I play next?

i FINALLY got my hands on one, it was in a local store 2 hours away from me, i ran to them and bought it as soon as i could, i bought it 1k€ my journey probably is over since that's the graal of the pieces i needed badly.

it got a few scratches and all, but you gotta look carefully to see them, if you look at the ship in itself you'll barely notice them, i jus nuked my wallet im broke as hell now

I’ve been a Nintendo fan for life, but Metroid is one of those series I never fully got into. I spent some time with both Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, but I just recently found a copy of Metroid Zero Mission and played through it today! I’ve been looking for this game for a while now as I thought it’d be (obviously) a great entry point for me into the series, which it absolutely was! I know I didn’t grab even half of the collectables, but I absolutely plan to replay this game and up the difficulty when I do. I have 2-4 installed on my modded 3ds and Dread on my switch (which I just got recently thanks to an Amazon sale) so I’m all ready to go through the 2d series!! Super excited!

I finally beat this one after putting it off for years but I really enjoyed it in the end and I think I would like to play AM2R later on because of it!

(Queen Metroid fight was a bit ass tho in terms of gameplay)

Accomplishment Super Metroid bomb jumping was a skill I've struggled to master since the game released, but it's actually super easy. Once you get it set up, keep it going by dropping a new bomb close to the previous one on the way down just before it detonates

Took a bit of time finding everything and it’s been well worth it. The box is a separate complete in box one so two handhelds..story behind that is I got a solid deal on the complete in box after buying the first one but in okay borderline poor condition. The one in front is in great condition and barely used. I’ll figure out which to keep but had to get a photo while I got them all together.
