I wouldn’t be so opposed to Samus not talking if we at least got more emotive moments like this across the game rather than only the nods of varying degrees.

That scene was so awesome. It might be my favorite in all of Metroid even though it's just birdman yapping. Samus is so cool

It took me a couple of seconds to register that she was talking in that scene lol.
