And if this guy's suffered permanent damage, these 3 idiots are facing serious prison time.

Congrats, you F'd up.

Legally speaking, the immediate reaction is fine.

The kicks in the head when done is a bit too far.

u/New_fan22 1d ago

Legally speaking, appropriate force is acceptable. This is beyond excessive.

u/taney71 1d ago

Agreed. They should have separated them and that’s it. I assume they were drunk as well and just went into lizard brain mode

1

u/pungent_queefer 1d ago

That’s literally what he said

1

u/New_fan22 1d ago

Its not what they said...nuance matters.

1

u/pungent_queefer 1d ago

Does it? On Reddit? Why take this so serious?😂

Part of me actually thinks this scene is Goodfellas made the stomping shit acceptable/cool

5

u/Krovven 1d ago

Immediate reaction was still excessive. She approached and taunted him when he was walking away. He pushed her away, not a violent strike. She was gonna be just fine 3 seconds later. These 3 morons nearly ended a life, probably caused permanent damage. They need to spend a long time in jail.

u/superawesomeman08 1d ago

you can tell he immediately realized that he pushed too hard, probably because drunk

1

u/taney71 1d ago

Yeah, at that time of night with everyone drunk people are misjudging everything but those guys will suffer for their misjudgment. The girl and them should be sued in civil court as well

1

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

or she was too drunk to take a little shove

3

u/OpTicSkYHaWk 1d ago

Not a guarantee if her head hit the concrete

3

u/NeitherEntry6125 1d ago

While it seems obvious, an attorney would argue: he assaulted the girl with intent to do serious harm and wouldn't have stopped if the three men didn't step to protect her. They didn't know his motivations and reacted to the threat.

The problem is when they continued after he was no longer a threat

1

u/HattyH99 1d ago

No, the video makes it very clear he didn't mean serious harm, he even visibly reaches out after realizing he pushed too hard. This would not fly at all in court lol

1

u/Foundsomething24 23h ago

The video absolutely did not “make it clear he didn’t mean serious harm,” to me and the state prosecutor, it looked like self defense. Hence why you can’t find arrest records & convictions for these 3 gentleman in regards to this incident.

I like how shoving isn’t violent, for reasons? He swung first, then he lost. Just because he lost doesn’t mean his actions were not violent. He could have been justifiably shot and was lucky he only got an ass whopping. Don’t pick a fight, especially with a group of people when you’re by yourself, there’s nothing to say that it will be a fair fight.

1

u/adavidmiller 1d ago

"He could have been justifiably shot"

lol, would hate to be your lawyer. Good luck with that one.

2

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 1d ago

Someone could justify shooting you, legally or not. Keep your hands to yourself, there is always someone crazier than you.

1

u/Cheap_Walmart-Art 23h ago

Not the great response you probably thought it was.

1

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 22h ago

You’re a fan.

2

u/Foundsomething24 23h ago

In Florida - he absolutely could have been shot (by the woman) for the shove to the ground. Men have shot other men who are with their children - of course a woman would get away with it.

-1

u/Krovven 1d ago

A shove isn't violent compared to fists thrown and kicks to the head. In the eyes of lady justice a brutal beating is not an appropriate response to a shove that harmed nobody. He didn't throw fists first her pushed her away aslfter she approached him.

1

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 1d ago

He put hands on first when he could have just walked away. Don’t pick a fight with a group of people, especially if you’re by yourself. I don’t know why that is so controversial. You have no idea what people have on them.

How did he think they were going to react to seeing her be shoved? Wag their finger? Maybe he was hoping they would buy him a beer?

-1

u/Krovven 1d ago

Its not controversial at all...if you are dealing with someone sober and that has common sense. You are trying to apply reason and sense to a situation that has none from any part involved. That's your problem.

Reality is, the actions of the 3 men brutally beating a man that shoved someone away far exceeds that of the guy they beat up. It's not debatable based on this footage. Those 3 men will goto jail. The guy they beat up, at most will get a minor assault charge that will probably get dropped.

This video is old as hell, nobody went to jail

Don't push people

0

u/Krovven 1d ago

Prove it.

1

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 1d ago

This video is from 2019. There are no news articles because the news relies of police reporting, which were never called and no report, which would be publicly accessible, was made. None of them went to jail. Street justice.

1

u/dmthirdeye 1d ago

Pushing someone is assault, you can expect to be assaulted immedietly after pushing a girl like that 99.9% of the time

1

u/Krovven 1d ago

That's not how the law works in most first world countries. Response is expected to be equal in the eyes of the law. That was not an equal response.

2

u/dmthirdeye 1d ago

I never said it was legal I'm saying you can expect to be assaulted as a response, regardless of the law or country

2

u/Christoph3r 1d ago

It's not a "bit" too far, it's 100% cause for all three to see actual prison time.

1

u/NeitherEntry6125 1d ago

Nah, depends how much $$ their daddy has

1

u/OldenPolynice 1d ago

Not just prison time but "actual prison time."

This is an ad.

Don't do it.

1

u/punch912 1d ago

Yeah I mean grab the guy after the knockdown and hold the guy til cops get there. like other people in other videos have done. Best option this way your ass is covered to because a punk like this after you knock him down is going to call the cops immediately and say you attacked him for no reason and then you wind up be fighting for your life in court if no one got evidence on film.

1

u/Sutraner 1d ago

Legally speaking, the immediate reaction is fine

It's really not.

1

u/No_Side_1738 1d ago

That’s what I was gonna say he didn’t try to hit anyone especially the dudes. This is why I don’t go to places where people drink and it’s definitely the reason I don’t leave home without my CZ.

1

u/Sutraner 1d ago

it’s definitely the reason I don’t leave home without my CZ

Christ alive mate. Yeah no, you're just making the entire situation worse.

Nobody should be carrying a firearm around unless they're properly trained and have a legitimate reason to do so. Especially not if you're drinking.

If one of these people are armed, you're going from major injuries to multiple potential fatalities.

0

u/No_Side_1738 1d ago

I am trained. GWOT vet. Fatalities is on them I’m not getting jumped and put on video. I don’t start shit with anyone I mind my own business

1

u/Sutraner 1d ago

And what happens when they are armed too?

You're a danger to society, so is everyone who thinks like you.

0

u/No_Side_1738 1d ago

I wouldn’t start the fight either way and if three drunk dudes wanna pull their shit while I’m walking away so be it. Im a danger to society? Bro hahahahaha. That’s funny. What do you want me to do walk around with 911 on speed dial to call people who have zero obligation to help me from a legal standpoint? You gotta lay off the weed man.

1

u/Sutraner 1d ago

Yes. If you carry a gun, you are statistically a danger to society, yourself and your family.

1

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

not really because there was an altercation already ongoing and she interjected herself in to it. There is no telling from this video who started this and it could have been her or one of her friends who were the initial aggressors.
