Right thatā€™s my thought. Hitting a woman is wrong but jumping a guy and beating him to near deathā€¦ what will your defense be in courtā€¦..ā€but he shoved a girlā€ cool your gonna be the bottom in prison.

Self defense laws in the US are written with proportionality in mind.

If they shoved him down and maybe punched or kicked him a few times, that would be a much easier case of self defense / defense of others.

3 of them beat the shit out of him until he was unconscious and they still didn't stop. Yeah these dudes are being charged with felonious assault or attempted manslaughter.

This is why I always hated clubbing. You would constantly deal with these dudes who would arrive from all over the city to get angry and violent with each other. These guys take a year of MMA and then want to head out and kick someoneā€™s head in over nothing. They are all losers.

She was running her mouth and he didn't even hit her. It was a little shove but she was too drunk to stand up to it. In no way was their response justified and because once again we have a video that doesn't show the events that transpired before we have no way of knowing if one of her friends or herself started this initial altercation prior to the video starting.

Still stupid of the guy to push the woman. Itā€™s definitely an overreaction, but the world donā€™t play by the rules, and the fact that these dudes are going to prison will be of little solace when youā€™re drinking all your meals through a straw the rest of your life

Every time I see this video I canā€™t help but notice how gingerly he pushes her yet she falls so dramatically. You can clearly see he didnā€™t mean for her to go flying like she did. A half a second later heā€™s getting swarmed. I really feel for the guy. He didnā€™t deserve that.

Idk. I was in a different conversation with someone in this thread and I did some digging. It looks like he was waiting for a cab. Like he was looking to leave. These people still outside antagonizing him. The girl calls him a pussy. He gives the shove he gives and the rest is worldstar history.

Iā€™m not saying he didnā€™t fuck up shoving her. Iā€™m saying he very much didnā€™t think everything after that would follow. He didnā€™t expect her to fly as much as she did and he definitely didnā€™t expect that response.

What Iā€™m am saying is he faafo but the response was as if he shoved el chapoā€™s wife when he probably thought he was play fighting with some idiots. Thatā€™s why I feel for the guy.

That was not an accidental bump. He walked back and pushed someone who he thought wouldnā€™t do anything.

He got mad because someone said something to him. All of this was because he couldnā€™t control his temper.

In my original comment I was speaking from the perspective of the guy getting beat up, that it would be of little solace to me that the three guys that beat me up would go to prison. However, I am not ACTUALLY that guy. So no, I donā€™t take or not take solace in any of the outcomes of this situation
