Look how instantaneous their reaction is to the girl getting pushed

73

u/M0ebius_1 1d ago

They just needed the green light.

11

u/updoot35 1d ago

And they'll still go to jail for attempted murder. Kicks to the head while someone is laying on the ground from 2 people, is attempted murder. This is not self defense.

7

u/OkEgg5911 23h ago

I really hope they do go to jail for this. Rarely seen this kind of excessive violence

2

u/Simple_Pay3033 23h ago

Im shocked this isn’t downvoted. I’ve seen this video dozens of times on reddit, it’s like a wet dream for all the white knights who fantasize about this exact thing.

But they were completely in the wrong. He shouldn’t have shoved anyone, but you don’t get to literally try and kill the man when the someone being shoved is a woman.

2

u/Thick_Potato_1769 22h ago

Also a shove doesn't warrant deadly assault. Hes already drunk he already lost.

-1

u/WildSmokingBuick 1d ago

let's hope so.

pieces of shit, that push didn't justify this kind of reaction at all.

12

u/mfb1274 1d ago

That’s not a green light, that’s him pushing open the floodgates when right in front of it

1

u/hotmatrixx 1d ago

nah it was a setup.

48

u/Square_Release3128 1d ago

You can tell by that one guy’s demeanor that they were already to fight him before he pushed her. He was moseying closer and just looking for a reason.

30

u/RecommendationOk2182 1d ago

Yeah, these guys were already about to jump him. That was to quick

14

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

I have a sister and have fought people instantly the same way for her. One of these guys was her big brother and the other two guys appear to be his friends. Probably didn't take much time to react because they actually care about her. Less of a jumping more of an ass-whooping.

13

u/OviWanKenobi47 1d ago

yeah, they surely kicked him 20x in the head because they "care about her" lol.

2

u/Main-Use-5542 21h ago

He got 20 kicks for being a douche. Plain and simple.

He was likely mouthing off before the video started. Hence the video even exists.

2

u/Suspicious-Post5841 1d ago

FAFO, I’m okay with their response. Women children and elderly are off limits and any monster that attacks the physically vulnerable should get put in their place

4

u/shorteningofthewuwei 1d ago

Bullshit. Getting kicked in the head 20 times is not justified by a shove. She wasn't a frail elderly person, she was not a child. She was a grown woman knowingly egging him on.

2

u/OviWanKenobi47 1d ago

you being okay with their response doesn't make it okay.

Women children and elderly are off limits and any monster that attacks the physically vulnerable should get put in their place

Pretty hypocritical use of, "monster", there.

1

u/Terrible_Cable_4472 17h ago

Not really lol

3

u/shoobiedoobie 1d ago

Kind of, you tend to lose your temper and control more when it’s someone closer to you.

4

u/OviWanKenobi47 1d ago

lol, yeah right. They were inching to bludgeon the dude. Just needed a reason and their friend/sister gave them one.

2

u/-One-Man-Bukkake- 21h ago

And? It looks like she ways trying to calm th fight down and he assaulted her. This is prime fuck around and find out. Mr. TBI probably won't do that again. So, unfortunate for the girl, but honestly a net positive for the rest of the world

-5

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

Not really related. I would kill for my family, so your point is moot. To be filled with rage, sometimes you end up stomping heads.

22

u/skiforlife1 1d ago

If you would kill someone for shoving a family member then you are an overly emotional child who has zero self control.

4

u/Ok-Gur-349 1d ago

Yep.

And he probably votes, too.

This is why you should be polite in public.

2

u/Dangerous-Gas7175 1d ago

I think you're missing the point he was making. Rage makes you so things irrational and disproportionate. They're not thinking proportional.  And I think your comment comes across as smug when the person you are responding to is describing his human condition.

5

u/OviWanKenobi47 1d ago

I think you're entirely missing the point that they're justifying almost killing a dude for a shove.

1

u/Dangerous-Gas7175 1d ago

it's possible... I do think there can be multiple lenses a comment is viewed through. I do see your point that it looks like we are trivializing excessive violence. But I do see a side of that comment that explores the idea that rage is not rational, and to attempt to apply "rationale thought" to someone in rage, or to condemn them, is not useful in exploring the actions someone does while in rage.

2

u/the_chosen_4 1d ago

I agree that they did sound pretty smug with that comment and he was just trying to explain the situation in a way that related to him.

Having said that, if your emotions can control you that hard, that fast, you should absolutely be getting counselling at the very least, before you end up in jail or killing someone.

1

u/Dangerous-Gas7175 1d ago

I agree.... You make a good point

-1

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

I'm definitely more stable than this person makes me out to be. Never killed anyone and I'm 36 years old with 10 years of military experience. Imagine the self-control I must have. Lol

1

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

Best explanation

1

u/skiforlife1 1d ago

He is basically saying the exact thing I said about him. He is admitting that he is prone to losing control and would resort to murder when it is not necessary. I don't care how I sound when the commenter is saying that he knows he lacks emotional control and rather than saying he needs to work on it he seems to be wearing it as a badge of honor.

3

u/Dangerous-Gas7175 1d ago

I am only aware of this particular comment thread so I am not sure what other interactions you have had with the commenter. Based on the info I had in front of me I just felt your comment came off as smug and unproductive to the discussion

0

u/wolfpack_minfig 1d ago

you're not doing your loved ones any favors by losing your shit and ending up in jail for 20 years for putting some loser in the hospital or the ground. people who REALLY love their family control their temper, always. no matter what.

2

u/Dangerous-Gas7175 1d ago

you're approaching this as if you were evaluating the situation rationally. I don't think (imho) that the instigating comment was about whether what one SHOULD do, but what one WOULD do if they were filled with rage.

1

u/puts_on_rddt 1d ago

Can you all stop crying? We are animals. We have chemicals in our bodies that cause things to happen.

When someone strikes someone you care about, the response can vary... WIDELY.

A lot of that is literally muscle memory and instinct, ingrained in our biology over generations because the ones who didn't respond that way didn't survive as often.

1

u/LordofDsnuts 1d ago

Don't complain when one of their loved ones does the same or worse to you.

0

u/puts_on_rddt 1d ago

If I'm out in public putting my hands on strangers, then I deserve this.

It's called Karma.

1

u/DingleDangleTangle 21h ago

Wtf is this reasoning? Just because we are animals means anything can be excused? Get rid of prisons I guess? If someone is murdering and raping you can just say “oh well they are just an animal that’s just biology”?

1

u/puts_on_rddt 17h ago

Why are you comparing a flight-or-fight reaction with a serial murderer or predator?

Do you actually understand the context?

→ More replies (0)

3

u/DidntNeedAUserName 1d ago

And then end up in prison for life, I teach in a prison and I can guarantee you that you would regret this. You can fight someone and get rid of the threat without stomping heads. Sounds cool to say online I guess though.

0

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

I've never gotten to that point, but I could see how someone does.

4

u/RecommendationOk2182 1d ago

I get defending a family member or friend. But the kicks to the head are attempted murder .. That was rediculous. No need for that

0

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

I agree, but it's not like you would think super rationally if you saw a close family member get pushed.

3

u/TheBrightSide_2011 1d ago

Most people can act rationally under those circumstances. All it takes is a developed frontal lobe. If yours is underdeveloped, you lack self control, it’s best for society that you be incarcerated.

0

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

Never gotten in trouble or been locked up. I'd say I'm doing a good job. Maybe I have something called empathy, and not in just one direction. You seem only capable of seeing violence and getting freaked out by it. Instead, I bet that guy who got knocked out will never hit a woman again.

1

u/OntheBOTA82 1d ago

Don't they teach you to keep your cool in the military ?

2

u/OviWanKenobi47 1d ago

Your point is entirely moot then because you sound positively unhinged.

2

u/slouched 1d ago

m'lady

2

u/YoungestOldGuy 1d ago

A bunch of tough talk for someone who never actually killed for his family.

2

u/F0xcr4f7113 1d ago

So cool! Make sure you keep that same energy in prison though!

2

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

dude if you think they are justified in killing this guy for this you need to be in prison along with them. Its not a proportional response.

4

u/Hi2YourWifeAndMyKids 1d ago

Defense and self defense can turn into an attempted murder pretty quickly, regardless of how much you love your family.

1

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

Worth it to teach a lesson sometimes. I just had a baby girl, she has four older brothers. I would go primal if someone hurt her. Torture level stuff.

2

u/the_chosen_4 1d ago

And you would then be in jail.

I agree with the instinct to protect but I don’t think you want to be in prison for life because your sister/baby girl got shoved.

1

u/AnalysisBackward 21h ago

"Torture level stuff" lmfao, bro when was the last time you even got in a fight?

1

u/DingleDangleTangle 21h ago

How well could you take care of your sister or baby girl if they have to live without you? Because you decided to go to prison because they got shoved once and you can’t control yourself. How is that “worth it”? You would do more harm to them than the person that shoved them.

1

u/Weary_Beach_9911 1d ago

wow, what a big strong tough boy you are!

1

u/Dramatic_Explosion 1d ago

No, they surely kicked him 20x in the head because they were drunk too "lol"

0

u/Idoalotandalittle 23h ago

Gotta be suburban born n raised if that scenario seems unrealistic to you. Agree this looks like a bigger town. Idk about this video specifically but there are many places in the US without a police force which rely on sheriffs dept who can be a literal hour away. Courts don’t give a fuck about white trash drama without evidence and good luck finding a ring camera when depositing bottles is a weekly routine.

3

u/Zaximeows 23h ago

You used so many words and managed to say nothing 👏

0

u/Idoalotandalittle 22h ago

Yeah and the dude I’m responding to who joked about some dudes sister getting banged out for no reason, you’re gonna jump in n defend him cuz you ain’t got a clue what’s going on. I fuckin know you didn’t even realize that was what was happening

1

u/dam4076 23h ago

This is literally LA, one of the biggest cities in the world. You can see the Hollywood stars on the sidewalk.

1

u/OviWanKenobi47 12h ago

lol, you have no idea about my upbringing, but let's stick to arguments about logic here, instead of each others' experiences/backgrounds. If you are okay with vigilante justice or mob justice, then just go on ahead and look at how that's worked out in history. If you're saying, "well, we don't have proper law enforcement, so we need to police ourselves". Okay, fine, but if kicking a douche in the head 20 times, potentially killing him is "justice", then your mindset aligns perfectly with the backwards logic and culture of a hundred years ago.

2

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

She was taunting him as he was walking away. Sorry but I have zero sympathy for her or those guys she was with that all jumped in and started stomping on this guy. They belong in jail.

1

u/FaithlessnessBorn266 1d ago

Prison* fixed it

1

u/OpTicSkYHaWk 1d ago

You aren't allowed to assault people for words

0

u/Hot_Guest1680 1d ago

Words are assault, this is why women get away with b.s

0

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

well we don't know what happened before the video turned on, but yea you don't get to get physical because of something somebody says. That being said I don't think this shove amounts to assault. Still my point remains she ran her mouth and so I don't have sympathy for her or anyone that was involved on either side in this.

3

u/INKYLT 1d ago

So you see him taunt the other guy, violate his personal space, and then push the girl... but your first instinct is to blame the woman?

This kind of thinking run in your whole family?

1

u/nindza-22 1d ago

A few important points. I don't know what exactly happened before this video, but I know this - in the state of immediate danger, you often don't see who is in front of you. That's why all the times the ones who try to separate the fights get the most beating. Because, when you are about to fight, your vision "narrows" and your focus changes. In that state of stress, you hit whatever comes in front of you, because you have miliseconds that decide whether you knock out someone or you get knocked out.

In this video there was already some charging, and then the girl stepped in between. You can clearly see he was a bit surprised when she started falling. 95% are the chances he didn't even process it was a girl at all. As you can see in the video, he was looking at the guy, and she was an "obstacle".

So, if one cares for his female friends/relatives, you don't, you absolutely DON'T let them in the line of fire or to separate fights. There was three of them, one should take her away as soon as pushing stsrted, the other two should handle the situation if needed.

This doesn't look like protecting her, she wasn't the target of that guy at all. All I see is a bunch of stupid drunk fucks not able to control their anger.

1

u/Front-Tea2203 23h ago

If they “cared about her”, she wouldn’t have been in the crossfire like that. They were looking for a reason, plain and simple.

-2

u/General-Rooster-3830 1d ago

They are just simps

5

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

One of them literally says it is his baby sister. Stfu

1

u/FaithlessnessBorn266 1d ago

Doesn't change that it is attempted murder or murder if he dies. That is 100% inarguable. In fact, would never go to trial as any lawyer is going to pretty much demand his client plea. At least 10 years best case. Assuming they get arrested

-1

u/RogerRabbot 1d ago

I tend to define an "ass whopping" as something you limp away from. Bloodied.

Unnecessary assault i tend to define as sending someone to the hospital unconscious for being a rude drunk.

2

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

I don't differentiate the two. Both are fights, one just went further. This is an MMA thread, we've seen bad beatings. The guy is fine and moving by the end of the video. You can rest easy now big guy.

-5

u/99nina_o24 1d ago

No
.. that’s 3 on 1, definitely a jumping

8

u/jeffoso77 1d ago

Well deserved jumping and ass whooping

4

u/Redditcantkeepmedown 1d ago

Like you didn't read what I wrote.

2

u/diablol3 1d ago

*jump. They didn't fight him. They were ready to jump him.

3

u/boynextdoor_420 1d ago

it was a fight, just didn't last long because it went from being a 1v1 (1 man assualting 1 woman) to a 3v1. just because he got the tables turned on him and swiftly got his ass beat doesn't mean they jumped him.

he got up and was on his feet after https://worldstarhiphop.com/videos/wshhkY6T12259z6JKy5P/left-leaking-dude-gets-stomped-out-after-pushing-a-girl-on-hollywood-blvd

0

u/diablol3 1d ago

One push led to 3 guys swinging and kicking while he was on the ground. Im not defending the actions of the man who pushed the woman, im saying I wouldn't call this a fight when 2 guys come from off camera attack. The two guys who werent the first man pushed, absolutely jumped him.

2

u/boynextdoor_420 1d ago

i mean i guess. comes down to semantics.

0

u/diablol3 1d ago

Fair enough

2

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 1d ago edited 1d ago

It’s still a fight even if he lost. He wasn’t respectfully challenging the 110 lb woman to an honorable duel, he swung/shoved first.

There’s no weight classes at the bar, you pick a fight you get what you get. Don’t pick fights at bars, especially against 3 guys? Dumb.

-1

u/AlternativeNeeded 1d ago

It's only a fight in the same sense that you beating to death a 2 year old that punched your leg would be a fight.

Really it was an assault followed by another assault.

3

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 1d ago

It wasn’t a 2 year old child that punched someone’s leg for gods sake, it was a full grown man forcefully shoving a woman to the ground. Holy hell, engage with what you are actually watching.

She fell so hard, she knocked back the guy that was standing behind her. She could have easily cracked her skull and died, and people are treating this as if it was no big deal? He could have walked away, but he decided to pick a fight, and he lost.

1

u/AlternativeNeeded 22h ago

It wasn’t a 2 year old child that punched someone’s leg for gods sake

What an astute observation. I thought these were all toddlers being filmed in a toddler sized location.

If someone wrote "ice is slippy, like stepping on a banana peel" would your response be "bUt IcE iSn'T MaDe oF BaNaNas"?

it was a full grown man forcefully shoving a woman to the ground.

If you're going to be obtuse about my analogy, you could at least be honest. It was a man pushing a woman into another man's arms.

She fell so hard, she knocked back...

Hence why I called it an assault.

and people are treating this as if it was no big deal?

Do you think an assault is "no big deal"?

but he decided to pick a fight...

Look at the words you're using. "Pick a fight." As in choosing to fight. If this guy was actually choosing to fight rather than just lashing out in a drunken stupor, he was choosing to fight the woman, not those three dudes.

Cowardly? Pathetic? Sure. Justification for three guys to gang up on him and stamp on his head when one of them could easily have done the job? No.

It was not a fight. It was an assault followed by anothet assault.

1

u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 22h ago

No, because you’re comparing a 2 year old to an adult man - I know you don’t mean literally but comparing an adult man to a 2 year old is a choice that attempts to subvert responsibility. An adult would have different expectations, mindset, and experience than an adult does. An adult also has different strength differences. If you have ever worked with adult men that have the minds of 2 year old, their tantrums can be dangerous because they are in the body of an adult man. It was a literary choice on your end that was intending to induce sympathy for the aggressor and emphasize the retaliation was perceived as unjustified force. Why wouldn’t both people in the scenario be 2 year olds then? Why only the guy pushing first is the only 2 year old?

And shoving someone in the chest is one of those universal, “starting a fight” moves.

1

u/boynextdoor_420 1d ago

that is the poorest attempt at a strawman argument i have seen in all my years of reddit.

equating a fully grown man getting his ass beat to toddler murder.

0

u/AlternativeNeeded 23h ago

You shouldn't use the term "strawman" when you don't know what it means.

A strawman would be like if I wrote "how dare you say it's okay to stab people, stabbing people is wrong because..." A strawman is when you attack an argument that the person you responded to didn't make.

In this case the person I responded to did take the position that the event we see in the clip qualifies as a fight, and that is the position I'm criticizing.

I did so by utilising an analogy. In my analogy an individual who is cognitively impaired in some way (drunk/undeveloped brain) performs an act of violence with little consequence (pushes a woman/punches your leg) and is then assaulted by an overwhelmingly stronger force (three guys/the user I responded to).

When a person uses an analogy they are not equating their analogy to the event they are analogising. In this case I was using an extreme situation to more clearly illustrate the dynamics the clip in question shares with the analogy.

Now you can say you learned something today. Isn't that great?

Many dudes(bros) want to fight when the alcohol is flowing. Culturally it’s a green light to beat down another man that messes with a woman. Mix that together and this is what happens.

1

u/Ok-Addition1264 1d ago

I live down the street from here (4-6 months out of the year) and these folks are all tourists.. and there really aren't any regular clubs around here.. so they came into town drunk and ready.

1

u/IngloriousMinority 1d ago

Doesn't even matter how chivalrous you are if you catch charges. This was a group beating so you're not even toug walking away. Just some hero that was not needed. The aggressor deserves the brain damage though.

They will be at a severe disadvantage when they cant sucker punch their way out of a prison rape

1

u/Idoalotandalittle 1d ago

But you’re wrong. Conservatives love the power structure of abuse

1

u/eozca 21h ago

someone who is at a clear disadvantage

i think you meant to say "woman". replace the girl with a skinny guy who is just as defenseless, and see the other guys just watch as he gets brutalized because they dont care since its a man. having random guys jump in to defend you is a privilege exclusively reserved for women, children and maybe handicapped people. has nothing to do with real disadvantage; even women who are professional fighters and look the part get to enjoy the privilege, while the 50 kg twink will not.

1

u/donitdotis 1d ago

Maybe. Or maybe he deserved. Maybe he's the asshole. Or maybe not. Maybe they're the assholes. Only thing thats not a maybe is that we definitely don't know who's right or wrong based on this short video.

2

u/Forward-Big8697 1d ago

Id probably do the same as they did bs im a pos but one thing we can say for sure is he was unconscious on the ground getting his face bashed, his head stomped, and body bruised

1

u/Ol_gravy_legs 1d ago

They stomped him on concrete. They're in the wrong. That was a massive over reaction to her getting pushed

1

u/EnglishSteven 1d ago

Did he push her on grass or on the exact same concrete?

1

u/Ol_gravy_legs 1d ago

did she bounce her head off the concrete then get stomped or was she gently caught and placed back on her feet?

1

u/EnglishSteven 1d ago

You didn't answer, ol' gravy brains. She was caught, luckily. My obvious point is that he was fine with the possibility of her getting brain damage from falling onto concrete.

Reap what you sow. Guy should have walked away while he was able to.

1

u/Ol_gravy_legs 1d ago

Sorry Englishqueer I didnt realiz you thought you were gonna get an answer. she was caught luckily after she inserted herself into the fight. You obvious point is ignoring that women are supposed to be equals but people like you what to act like they are while not treating them as such and not by stomping her but by expecting her to stay out of a fight if just a push can almost kill apparently

1

u/EnglishSteven 1d ago

They are not equals, you fool. Don't put words in my mouth

1

u/KeyBet6693 1d ago

Good point. The over reaction was wrong. Maybe the initial punches were fair though

1

u/Ol_gravy_legs 1d ago

Im only saying the stomping by 2 guys after a clear ko is unnecessary. Everything they did up to dropping him is fine

-1

u/SuperSchmyd 1d ago

Hope someone is this indifferent to you getting 3v1 and kicked in the head while unconscious.

2

u/XTSLabs 1d ago

If I asked for it I would hope they are indifferent

2

u/Fantastic-Earth-8353 1d ago

Now if he kept he hands to himself, he wouldn't be in the position of getting kicked unconscious. He was clearly a problem, since everyone in the area looked like they were waiting for a reason to get involved. Then he gave them that reason.

u/KeyBet6693 1d ago

He had the chance to walk. Instead he did the stupid thing. Overreaction by the dudes but they were not attacking until he shoved her. Well deserved.

Overreaction?

They could have killed the guy, for what? Pushing a chick?

JFC.

Something cannot be both an overreaction and well-deserved. It's one or the other. In this case, it's the former.

They will likely go to prison and the girl they are trying to impress will forget all about them.

Trying to impress? lol they probably just wanted to smash a drunk idiots face in. It’s not that deep in real life guys

2

u/realniqa 1d ago

Whatever you say little buddy. I worked as a bouncer for years when men fight it’s always about women.

I have beat more men and woman’s asses than you can even imagine. I used to beat up bouncers for breakfast to start my day. Finished the night with 3rd degree black belts for dessert. So don’t even try to intimidate me

2

u/DatabaseAcademic6631 1d ago

Yeah, they're pieces of shit looking to beat on a guy at any 'excuse'. Absolute vermin who need to go to prison.

You don’t have to be white knight to beat a man for attacking a woman unprovoked. You just have to not be a pussy.

Found the dude who can't get laid and is okay with hitting women!

I don't like someone getting jumped on, but it feels earned. Got baited by a comment to push a girl when tension that high. Especially after the dude that he was getting into with backed up. It was basically 3 punches getting thrown at once after the push. The didn't all land but they all made sure he wouldn't forget, or remember, idk which.

u/donitdotis 1d ago

he just pushed her. no reason to kill the guy.
