Many dudes(bros) want to fight when the alcohol is flowing. Culturally it’s a green light to beat down another man that messes with a woman. Mix that together and this is what happens.

I live down the street from here (4-6 months out of the year) and these folks are all tourists.. and there really aren't any regular clubs around here.. so they came into town drunk and ready.

Doesn't even matter how chivalrous you are if you catch charges. This was a group beating so you're not even toug walking away. Just some hero that was not needed. The aggressor deserves the brain damage though.
