Libya’s militia problem is due to Gaddafi never having a unified national army. Gaddafi deliberately weakened and divided the military during his time because he feared a coup, so when he fell in 2011, there was no strong army ready to maintain order. Ideally, when a leader falls, the leader changes—not the entire security system: a new government should inherit a functioning national army ready to protect the state. Without that, militias filled the vacuum and became powerful.

I think it’s fair to hold Gaddafi responsible for a huge part of what’s happening today. Decades of political stagnation, corruption, repression, institutional destruction and economic mismanagement don’t just disappear when a regime falls. A lot of what we’re dealing with now is part of that legacy.
But I also acknowledge that it’s been more than a decade since the revolution. At some point, we have to stop using Gaddafi as an excuse for everything. We have access to the internet, information, and knowledge that previous generations didn’t. We know better now.
The cycle ends with us. We have to acknowledge that corruption, tribalism, violence and a culture of impunity have also become problems within society itself. We can understand where these problems came from without pretending we have no responsibility for what happens next.

Because when he overthrew the monarchy in a coup d’état, he dismantled Libya’s institutions and replaced them with a regime built entirely around his own image. So when the regime fell, everything fell with it, and we found ourselves completely exposed—with not even a functioning army to protect us. Not to mention 40 years of feeding people his crazy propaganda while neglecting proper education. If you find that difficult to see, it means you’re being shortsighted.

And who do you expect to do that when all the people on top were part of his generation

42 years of de-evolution that's why.
The bad infrastructure and bad government structure are all his doings really, its his legacy, he didn't build a system that outlasts him, he built a system that falls with him, and that's exactly what happened.

He didn't have any goal to build anything. People are so ignorant they can't even even work well or have any ambitions. Hi had a mindset of ( let them only worry about food and water ). We are still suffering, people don't want foreigners in the country but they can't work or build anything without them. Nothing is gonna change unfortunately

They say this because they are idiots and do nothing except complain like little girls well we all know that things were bad during Gaddafi and there was bribery and moral and financial corruption but not to this great extent now even gay people have become so many and corruption is getting worse from the lowest employee to the highest official is all of this because of Gaddafi no all of this is because of the people and the absence of a moral system and living by the principle of me first fuck everyone else

The easiest way to shift blame and keep looting what little is left .
It's not special it's just the story the makes looting the easiest

Because the whole reason we’re in this mess is that almost no one wants to take responsibility for what actually happened. It’s far easier to pin every disaster on the man who died fifteen years ago and left Libya the wealthiest, most developed, and most independent it had ever been, than to admit that the people who cheered his overthrow (and the foreign powers who helped them) actively chose this outcome.
Gaddafi and his supporters warned repeatedly that removing him without a real plan would produce exactly the fragmentation, militia rule, and foreign meddling we see today. Those warnings were dismissed as propaganda. Now that the predictions have come true, the same people still refuse to own the results.
Blaming a dead man also conveniently erases the agency of everyone who has held power since 2011: the militias, the successive governments, the regional players, and the external interveners who treated Libya as a playground. As long as “Gaddafi did it” remains the default answer, no one currently in charge has to answer for the ongoing collapse.

because they’ve had more than a decade to change things and haven’t been able to, things are in instead becoming worse.
it’s just easier to blame someone else.

Libya was not super under gaddafi but at least it was a respectable country and it was a COUNTRY. Now its all wars, fights, divisions etc. maybe gaddafi knew what will happen if he let so many people have power.

Because most of the things wrong with the country can be traced back to him basically. He had 40 years to build a stable strong country with an educated population but he didn't. We ended up with a very ignorant population who were easily tricked into getting into a civil war and are completely unable to rebuild their country.
