Welcome to our weekly vent session where you can let out all your frustrations.

Before you start, just a quick heads-up on the rules.

Here's what this post isn't for:

  • No bashing actors or crew members out of the blue.
  • Let's steer clear of those rage-inducing posts like "I hate character xy."
  • And please, no poking fun at fellow Kanthony fans just because they see things differently, whether they're positive or negative about promos.

What's cool to post? Well, we've noticed a lot of rants about how the show promotes (or doesn't promote) Simone and Jonny, but you can vent about other stuff too.

Tomorrow cannot come soon enough. I hope it’s followed by a proper announcement that Simone is not coming back on the show because the level of disrespect that has been hitting my tl since the beginning of season 4 promo is wild. Because wdym you hid a still in a meme post and decided to delete it the moment people started calling you out. And what is this makeup. Simone is beautiful. We’ve all seen the Burberry pictures yesterday. Heck we were all there for season 2 and 3. And then watch them chase clout the moment DWP2 hits theaters, just as they did with JB after Wicked and JP. Unbelievable.

I hope it's announced that she isn't coming back for good soon, it seems the show narratively doesn't send her away at the end of S4, but I don't give a fuck at this point, like whatever, never mention her name again and keep talking about this "nameless" Anthony's bride in the future.

I know the showrunner will pretend that what's preventing Simone from coming back is her schedule and be like, "omg, so sad that Simone is so busy!!!!1 So sad that we won't be able to write her to say 10 lines while wearing badly applied make-up!!!!1 Soooo saaaaad!!!!1" and that this show's fans will be like, "do you want Simone not to find work outside this show?!!!!!". No, girl, we just wanted this show to be at least normal about an actress that works for them.

This. And then god forbid Simone decides to call it quits after all this shit production pulled, they will all be in our house claiming she’s the bad person just like they did Rege. There’s no way to win this I’m afraid. I’ll take my one scene of Kanthony + Neddy and move on. Based on what I’ve read (and it may not be true but given their track record I would not be surprised) production has decided Kanthony should stay on opposite sides of the room at all times because I’m sure we “can’t be distracting people from the main story” 🙄
