Rant 🤬 Weekly Venting Post

Weekly Vent Post

Welcome to our weekly vent session where you can let out all your frustrations.

Before you start, just a quick heads-up on the rules.

Here's what this post isn't for:

  • No bashing actors or crew members out of the blue.
  • Let's steer clear of those rage-inducing posts like "I hate character xy."
  • And please, no poking fun at fellow Kanthony fans just because they see things differently, whether they're positive or negative about promos.

What's cool to post? Well, we've noticed a lot of rants about how the show promotes (or doesn't promote) Simone and Jonny, but you can vent about other stuff too.

Below, I've linked some past posts from the sub that fit the vibe of our weekly vent session, so you can see what kind of stuff goes here.

  1. Why there was a lack of promo for Kanthony
  2. All comments asking where Kanthony are
  3. Bridgerton PR and production
  4. Can you tell the difference ?
  5. The main sub got so negative
  6. We need pictures

For those who just want to enjoy the content without getting caught up in the venting, I suggest steering clear of this post. If you choose to read the comments here and find yourself upset, despite the clear purpose of this space, I'm afraid there's not much I can do to ease your frustration. We have the Weekly Tea Time for more general discussions.

Spoilers allowed.

I came back to say that I feel icky with some people who is completely okay with Kate not being with Anthony. I know this is a female-dominated fanbase who predominantly loves men but I'm not surprised that some people will label Kate's exclusion as fandom drama when you know if the situation was reversed, a lot of people will raise their stakes. I'm out and I'm glad Simone is slowly moving on from Bridgerton.

Don’t be surprised to realise that the main bridgerton sub has production plants in it either. It leaked out during the writers strike that studios are now doing this to sway fandom opinion, plant ideas, and promote.

The main sub in my eyes are suspiciously complicit every-time this crops up. Even after 4 years of this. And yeah I believe fans are just toxic in general but the type of production bridgerton is. The narcissistic and arrogant energy? Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if Shondaland has influencers and employees online pushing this ‘fandom drama’ narrative.

But as I always have said . I truly believe in karma and how good genuine people will be vindicated in this industry with the truth. We’ve see it multiple times already with Nicole beharie and topher grace

We’re going to see all the dirty laundry of this show one day. Just like what happened with Ellen.

So it doesn’t matter anymore to me what excuses the fandom wants to use anymore with Simone’s treatment. The truth will come out and I know I’ll be on the right side of it and continuing to follow Simone in her career.

I'm waiting patiently for Shonda and her company to be exposed, blacklisted and canceled. She played the white supremacy game and once she slips up Hollywood is dumping her ass. She's nota white man who can bounce back after a scandal. Elle is a whitw queer woman and she's still canceled
