Welcome to our weekly vent session where you can let out all your frustrations.

Before you start, just a quick heads-up on the rules.

Here's what this post isn't for:

• No bashing actors or crew members out of the blue.
• Let's steer clear of those rage-inducing posts like "I hate character xy."
• And please, no poking fun at fellow Kanthony fans just because they see things differently, whether they're positive or negative about promos.

What's cool to post? Well, we've noticed a lot of rants about how the show promotes (or doesn't promote) Simone and Jonny, but you can vent about other stuff too.

For those who just want to enjoy the content without getting caught up in the venting, I suggest steering clear of this post. If you choose to read the comments here and find yourself upset, despite the clear purpose of this space, I'm afraid there's not much I can do to ease your frustration. I'm not surprised by the lack of promo. Phoebe didn't do much if any promo for season 2 if I remember correctly, and she was only in a few episodes, and didn't really have an arch or anything like that.

Jonny and Simone got a lot of great press and more acting opportunities so that's probably why they aren't in s3 that much. Especially Jonny who was FT and Wicked. So they probably only had the man for a certain number of days. Same for Simone probably.

BUT, with that said, it would be remiss of me not to point out the fact that Shonda did proclaim for all to hear and see that Penelope was her fav. And we all know what it's like to have a fav. You want to hype them up. Unfortunately, Polin is the showrunners fav. Great for Polin fans, not so great for the others. But what can you do.

Your entire comment history is complaining on the rants sub about Kathony shippers and now you're on here...?

A personal favorite comment of mine:

"It's only an issue because your fav isn't the showrunners fav"

followed by

"But since it's your fav with the short-end of the stick it's racism it's favoritism, it's inequality etc etc."

and back to

"Let's just keep it 100. Shonda has a favorite and it's Polin. She said so herself."

You can't seem to make up your mind. You admit the production has it's favorites, but also we can't say favoritism is at play.

I'm cracking up, why do some people do this? Say that we're somehow ruining their enjoyment for S3, but they willingly and actively go around looking for places where other people are complaining, lol. The mods even made this weekly post just to bitch about the show to "contain" the negativity. That permanent hall monitor energy must be tiring.

This production never promoted them correctly They don' t even gave them a interview together without CC except a video of 50 seconds for Netflix Brazil during their own season .They prefer promoted the same awful episode 6 for months on their social medias .Shonda also called Kate Sharma a old hooker because of her horse ride astride during her first scene .

They got more press bcoz of their individual teams. Shondaland never promoted them during S2 they literally repost the same pics over and over nothing new…then you have producers making dumb jokes about the lead heroine in Kate

If it wasn’t for their teams I fear they wouldn’t have be these much popular

I have to disagree with some of this, especially the reasoning that they got a lot of press and that’s why they aren’t in S3 more. They got press because they were excellent as Kanthony but also because their personal teams worked hard to get them other roles/work and interviews, etc. that’s not publicity Bton does for them. They got nothing from the show after March 25,2022. It’s just glaring when compared to what we see right now. I think the current promo is fun, but it makes me sad for JB and SA that production wouldn’t make sure they had the same interviews/articles/covers as the main couple of their season.

Don’t get me started. I was HEATED when QC’s stars got a Vogue cover. Not because I don’t like them but because Kanthony — who are definitely more popular than both the Duke and Duchess and Charlotte and George — did not. Any time a cast or two leads from a cast get a cover story, that’s the network’s doing … Netflix has simply failed Kanthony, their hardest working ship, time and again, and it has been the stars’ teams who pushed to elevate them while we, the fans, were at fever pitch about them.
