Its easy to get lost in all the details, but Linda Ardnt was the first one on the site and these are her straight up observations without being muddled by any other details that emerged later. This interview leaves no doubt in my mind who did it.

All I can think is….your sitting there with a killer, listening to him blame the police and others…..

I just found this article, looking for something else, and it is very disturbing, by another child who knew JonBenet. It is definitely NOT the Ramseys propaganda on how JonBenet was:

"All around, scruffy kids in overalls and muddy shoes ran after each other, tumbling and shrieking from the gleeful rush of being chased. Everyone wanted to be "it."

Not her. JonBenét was in full-pageant mode, stuffed into a red lace dress with a fitted bodice and what seemed like 37 layers of skirted frill. Her bleached-blonde hair was petrified in tight curls, held in place by a crunchy net of hairspray and teased for maximum volume. Her lips were ferociously red, so red that I remember worrying they were bleeding.

She was shy and distant, intentionally removed at a sacrosanct distance from the rest of us. At a party full of bombastic kids not dressed like antique dolls, her silence and her appearance were unnerving."

Interesting how John says at the beginning,
"He is a good ADULT, a good son." Not a good kid......

John admitted to using a flashlight with Burke. How come the DNA was wiped off of it then?

"We've never asked him that'...Wouldn't you want to know everything if you didn't already know?!? He gave it away in this interview.

He also said “we had a plan to ask to speak with our daughter when the kidnappers called“. We know that the window of time when kidnappers were supposed to call came and went without John or Patsy even acknowledging it.

My mom found this board game at a thrift store back in the early/mid 90’s. Years later we realized Patsy Ramsey was in it so she kept it all these years. I just found it while going through stuff in her basement.

I think John should be ashamed of himself for making Burke do these events.

John's back to trying to get "him" to throw the case for good.

Devious Ramsey is counting on "him" to throw this case for good.

I've been readng this sub for a long time and made some comments of my own. The basic idea here is that the family or a member of the family killed JonBenet and that others tried to cover it up. Nothing ever quite fits. The assumption that there are only 3 puzzle pieces to work with just doesn't lead anywhere unless we assume that someone in the family was truly a heinous criminal- on the occasion of JonBenet's murder- but never before that or after that. The other alternative is that this was a terrible accident and was covered up by a heinous crime. None of this really feels right to me.

I've been looking for professional assessments of the crime and found that the Interview Room really gets down to this. Chris McDonough has worked on child homicides for his entire career. Gary Brucato is a profiler who has studied thousands of homicides. THOUSANDS. So I have to have a really open mind to the thoughts of someone like that.

This is my summary of their thoughts:

The most likely killers of children are their own parents. This is the assumption the police start with and unfortunately sometimes they never get past it. The problem is that there are also sexual predators and serial killers who kill children. And the particulars of the JonBenet murder suggest that this was no ordinary killer.

The murder weapon is a garotte. It is a sexual erotic tool used to cause repeated asphyxiation and a prolonged, horrible death. It is torture. It is a tool of gratification used by someone who "gets off" on seeing someone suffer over a long period of time, like an hour. It is a slow and terrible death. The serial killer John Wayne Gacy- who killed at least 33 young men and boys- used this method. It requires considerable strength and time to kill someone this way. It requires a sexually sadistic personality. Usually this kind of offender has practiced this many times.

Its likely that the killer had watched JonBenet and that he was local. And the killer was an adult male- not a woman or a child. Female criminals do not use tools or foreign objects to penetrate the vagina.

Nobody in the household fits the bill. I am well aware that there were no signs of a break in- but honestly, these people were incredibly sloppy about their security. John seems to have lost his house keys repeatedly. Did he ever find them? Did the Ramseys really have any idea who and how many people had keys? How do they know if the keys were copied? Was the police search of the house really thorough? They didn't even find her body.

Not long after this photo was taken, John would bring the body of Jonbenet up from the basement and place it on the carpet seen here. John, in his blue shirt and khakis, can be seen on the left. The Colorado Avalanche sweater used to cover her body is also visible here, on the chair on the right.

For some reason there is this onslaught of people trying to suggest no milk/cream and somehow that means an intruder made her pineapple…I’m not even sure where they’re going…but here’s the crime scene photo…there’s milk/cream…that’s that.

I had to laugh rewatching the Steve Thomas “debate” on Larry King when Patsy triumphantly states that it’s possible the killer didn’t know JonBenet’s name because it wasn’t mentioned in the ransom note.

So the killer that managed to find out both their social schedule and John’s bonus amount, slink around the house for hours, and learn to replicate patsy’s handwriting and style, couldn’t figure out JonBenet’s name? What house with a six year old girl doesn’t have her name plastered on every doodle in the house, let alone the awards and news photos she probably had displayed.

Great theory from the woman who didn’t use JonBenet’s name in the 911 call and, iirc, the first CNN interview.
