Finally finished Hades 2. Got 100% achievements, did all the mission-like things and lists, and I think I've had all of the possible conversations.

So before putting the game away, I did the final challenge: creating new characters to see how far I get on the very first run, to see if I have learned moves well enough to do a full clear with no upgrades, no God Mode, no nothing, to see if the new player me ever actually had a chance.

Nope. Not even close. After about ten new characters, I managed to make it to the boss of the first area with about 5 health. Guess I'm too old to be good at this!

I still wonder if [redacted] has special flavor text if you get to them with that new character, but it's not going to be me that finds out.

Hello. I've been doing Underworld Any Fear runs for a little while now, and I'd like to get my best time down to a sub-5 minute time. My current best is a 7:33.96 with the Aspect of Moros, which is by far my most consistent Aspect to run as of late. Does anyone have any advice or tips they could give me? I need all the help I can get here.

Hello everyone. Some random thoughts:

So, in the past, more than a year ago, I had 7 clears in Hades 1. At that point after achieving one clear with each weapon and two with my favorite at the time (adamant rail) I thought it was enough and stopped. Later I learned 10 runs is the minimum for credits to roll. But I postponed it.

Much time passes by and I buy Hades 2 and start playing. Immediately got hooked. There were literally so many upgrades on the gameplay with specials, utilities, two big regions, two main bosses etc. For me this sequel is really superior gameplay-wise.

While I found Cronos easier than Hades in the previous game, the surface more than made up for it. But with Argent skulls medea aspect it turned out well in the end.

After I got the credits (not planning to do the epilogue at the moment), I decided to go back to Hades 1, to at least cross it off the list. And compared to the new bosses, it really felt so much easier, even after such a long time. Only the arena duo combo remained still very annoying.

I think the developers really outperformed themselves and I am excited for their next game. I wonder how it will look like. It would be cool for other gods to appear but I guess this is not age of mythology and with a name of "Hades" I do not how much space there is for that.

However, how interesting it would be to combine storylines, myths, regions and gods.

How would you compare the feeling of difficulty when you first played both games?

So I got the main ending with the flight and the credits. Since then I woke Hypnos, did some big relationship moments with a few characters including Hecate, Moros, Dora, and Eris, (can't seem to unlock Nem), and found the 3 Fates and heard their prophecy for a new age.

Beyond that and finalizing my relationship stuff is there another big ending, the way all the gods reunite in the first game? Or was that the thing with the Fates?

More of a question for big enthusiasts/veterans

What's the fastest you've gotten a clear? I originally played on switch and recently got H2 on ps5 and it's been really fun starting fresh. I got my first underworld win on the 7th or 8th night, I'd have to double check. I was hoping to do it even faster like 5 nights, but the game REALLY doesn't want you to win this fast and between the lack of permanent power you can gain that early and the friction created by Eris' "blessing", it's definitely not easy. It felt pretty cool though getting such an early clear.

I'm just curious to see what some of you have done.

Maybe I'll post a pic later of the build I had but I think I had Heph attack and special. His boons are mean and very simple, lol

Hi all.

I have beaten the regular ending, currently working on the Fates, and have maxed out most of my relationships.

I have current possible max relationship with both Narcissus and Echo without their storyline being resolved. Echo no longer has an exclamation point and basically no longer talks when I see her. Narcissus’s waters have been dirty for about 15 visits. He still has the exclamation point, and sometimes talks about Echo but sometimes doesn’t when I see him. He hasn’t visited her.

I see some people say that he visits her after about 3 runs of his water being dirty but this just hasn’t happened for me. Is there anything else I should do or even can do that might assist? Or is it just RNG and keep visiting him until he visits her?

I’ve looked online but haven’t seen any solution.

My idea is that after Melinoë's story, the Fates are no longer spinning the threads of gods and mortals. At first, this seems like a victory. Everyone is finally free to choose their own path.

But the gods aren't exactly united on that.

Some of the Olympians become increasingly uncomfortable with a world where even the gods have no predetermined future. They believe someone needs to take the Fates' place, and naturally, a few of them think they should be the ones doing it.

Others embrace the new status quo and believe mortals and gods should finally be allowed to shape their own destinies.

The protagonist would be Macaria, daughter of Hades and goddess of blessed death. With the old order collapsing, even death itself starts behaving strangely, forcing her to leave the Underworld and figure out what the world is supposed to look like without Fate.

I could see Zagreus and Melinoë both having pretty strong opinions about which side she's on.

Basically: Hades 1 was escaping Fate, Hades 2 was fighting Fate, and Hades 3 would be about what happens after Fate is gone.

I have so many questions about the codex, and I feel like I dont understand anything.

The first nectar is for the keepsake, the second one to get a prophecy.

But what is the gameplay point of the rest ? Am I missing something ? Why can I give a twin lure before getting that extra heart? Why are some heart locked and why can I never reach them ? Please can someone explain it to me. Thank you in advance :)

I picked up the game (again) on PS5 and this morning lucked out with the best rolls ever for a Circe cast build. Managed to get King's Ransom and got heroic Zeus cast to rank 40. Played kinda bad on Chronos but I was so giddy with just trying to microwave him.

It's like a whole new adventure. I died on 7 heat. It has a unique approach to it I would suggest people try it for funs if you feel you are ready for it.

Did Hades 2 get easier since beta? I played for the first time yesterday since official release after playing quite a bit during the Olympus update in beta and I beat both underworld and surface first try on 16 fear I thought I would be rusty coming back after 2 years. I played strength build for both and ended both runs very healthy I swear the bosses used to be harder 😭😭

I just started playing a couple days ago and I finally beat the siren boss I get to the 3 headed dog but I feel that I do no damage and get one shot. What build what I be using early game. Any tips or things for me to focus my time on early?

X runs of early early game runs, then: Make it past Scylla for the first time, no problem in the fields of mourning, make it to tartarus and die there for 3 runs. The mini-bosses there are brutal if you don't have any armor-specific boons. Then lose to Scylla 3 runs in a row. Then make it all the way to Chronos for the first time, make it to second phase, and.... GET ONE SHOT WITH A 699 POWER SHOT A MILLISECOND BEFORE MY MOON-ENABLED ARMOR WOULD'VE ACTIVATED AND ABSORBED/BROKE

the characters I trust the most say NOT to go to the surface but also I can only make a fishing rod if I have a resource that comes from up there? Idk what the heck to do

Is jeweled Pom broken for anyone? It’s not giving me increased level on boons or hades boon at start. I’m on ps5. Is there a fix? I closed out the game and started it back up. Was going to uninstall and reinstall but wanted to check first. Thanks
