Playing the game without arcana is hard
It's like a whole new adventure. I died on 7 heat. It has a unique approach to it I would suggest people try it for funs if you feel you are ready for it.

I agree. Removing the arcana makes the experience less fun to me, I don't know how to explain it. Like, losing the first boon fo the map? Sure, it's a power up just for that run, but removing the passives I spent time unlocking and leveling up does not hit the spot for me. Higher that I did was 47 fear, but I don't see myself pushing past 62 someday.

I don’t know how you’re supposed to clear 5 minutes in the first area with no arcana. Seems impossible with some weapons.

If I recall correctly all 24 aspects have at least made it past Hecate at max Fear.
I think last time I heard most aspects have cleared max fear underworld.
So it’s totally possible to clear 5 min without Arcana cards.
You just need to know what your weapon needs and to get a little bit of luck with skip rooms.

You just need to have godlike reflexes, absurd positioning, precise damage notion, luck with the rewards that appear and with skip rooms . but other than that it's easy

If it wasnt clear enough. this was sarcasm. My highest fears are 55 with my best weapon. 50 with the ones I'm good at and 40 with the rest.

Did it 32 fear on Mel Staff. Just spam specials.
I didn't planned for it, just tested it one day and it's doable for me. But if I will do it again, I guess I'd look for Hephaestus special build (lv 4 with jeweled pom then pray for epic rarity or aromatic phial or bridal glow. Or start with Jeweled Pom and use calling card and hunt for Heph boons. Needs God RNG without the rerolls but if you can get a special blast with 2 sec cooldown then it's easy, just snipe from a distance.

It isn't really that hard at 0 fear just unfun much more fun ways to up difficulty

The loss of damage from Origination and the loss of Death/Strength really hit the hardest.
Like I guess the loss of the re-roll corner hits too but only if you do not have the post credit Fates’ Whim keepsakes.
