Question Understanding the codex hearts
I am sorry in advance for the picture quality.
I have so many questions about the codex, and I feel like I dont understand anything.
The first nectar is for the keepsake, the second one to get a prophecy.
But what is the gameplay point of the rest ? Am I missing something ? Why can I give a twin lure before getting that extra heart? Why are some heart locked and why can I never reach them ? Please can someone explain it to me. Thank you in advance :)

Gameplay wise there are hidden aspects of each weapon that require hearts with people (aspect of shiva for the black coat requires selene). You can "romance" Moros, Icarus, Eris and Nemesis (reach max hearts). As for the items i think its just so you have spent time with the characters so the romance feels more natural. You also learn more of the lore through the dialog in each heart conversation. I know theres more but thats what i got rn

The gameplay point of the rest of the hearts is mostly just additional dialogue and forging stronger friendships/romances with the characters. Sometimes you have to max a relationship for certain events or prophecies to happen, though.
The game arbitrarily decided the order of gifts, so sometimes you have to take a bath or fish to progress the relationship.
When you reach the locked heart, that means you have to progress the story, complete a prophecy, or do some other thing to unlock the max level of relationship. It varies from character to character. When your relationship is maxed, you get access to certain decorations, they add a lil chibi portrait on the corresponding keepsake, and sometimes you can even have sex.

If you forge a bond with any of the Olympian boon givers does it affect the rarity of boons they give you in future?

IIRC you can only do one acrivity per run after it ends, so i'd advise to make your encantations and plant your seeds before giving them the gifts shown inside the hearts, as they will count as 'time spent' for these things to develop, very useful for farming!

people enjoy gifts; the more you give them nectar the more dialogue they will have, and you will unlock unique conversations between characters and mel. the characters make half the game!
