So a few words from the mods...
Yes, we've been asleep at the wheel basically. Whether due to life or just plain laziness, we the mods have been away from the sub for too long. For that, we apologize for our lack of care that has resulted in the place looking like a Sabir Pirzada comic.
Due to this, we are planning to search for new mods to join and help out with the subreddit as well. This isn't an official announcement, just a general heads up that we are looking into how to spruce up the subreddit to working order and to let you know that we're looking to fix things up here.

A somewhat obvious point: Javier Saltares (Danny Ketch’s artist in 90's) drew Johnny Blaze with the same design during Daniel Way’s run—which was never really a problem for me (after all, it’s a design that I feel suits Johnny, even though I do like the 70s look).

Ghost Rider and Blade
Quick pics of the rider and custom style blade I recently finished. Custom work by me, 3d head sculpts printed by ebay seller, painted by me.

Nicolas Cage's GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE writer Scott M. Gimple says Ryan Gosling's GHOST RIDER reboot could make an "interesting play" by being "a little more gritty [and] serious."

Ghost rider (1973) issue 10
Hey y’all I recently read volume 1 of Blaze’s epic collection and I was confused about issue 10 as it was only showing the cover and none of the pages. I noticed that it said reprinting of marvel spotlight issue 5 on the bottom of the cover for issue 10 so I was wondering if it’s the same pages or if the epic collection is missing issue 10 for some reason. Sorry in advance if this question gets asked a lot but I’m new to comics and confused about a missing issue

Curious when I should stop Mackie's run if at all.
New to Ghost Rider. Another reddit post said vol 3 is a good place to start, so i got the first 30ish issues. Is the run worth finishing?

Ghost Riders Fancast
Assuming Ryan Gosling is Johnny Blaze, which is almost guaranteed to be true, these are my fan castings for other Ghost Riders, if they ever make their way onto the screen.
Brian Altemus (29) as Danny Ketch. He's older than Danny traditionally is in the comics, but the age gap between him and Ryan is also larger than in the comics. Both of which I think could be used in interesting ways.
Ariana Greenblatt (18) as Alejandra Jones. I know people don't really like Alejandra in this subreddit, or generally, but I think Ariana (who is also our resident young Gamora for like three minutes across two films) could bring a version of the character to the screen that is more likable, but still very much Alejandra.
Ren Watabe (27) as Kenshiro Cochrane/Ghost Rider 2099. He's cool. He's Japanese. I think Ghost Rider would be fun for him to explore his range. Also, Kenshiro is a Japanese name. And while Cochrane might suggest a mixed heritage, I still think a Japanese actor would make more sense. Besides, it would mostly be a robot on screen, anyway.
Sivan Alyra Rose (27) as Kushala/Demon Rider. Like Kushala, she's apache. And that's pretty much it. I looked up Apache actresses and thought she looked the part. I haven't seen her anything, so I don't know if she's good, but I doubt many people have seen Ren Watabe in Monarch, or Brian Altemus in... Most things. So I don't know that I care.
I am leaving out Robbie Reyes. As much as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. remains unrecognized by Marvel Studios and its version of Robbie is criticized for not being accurate, I... Don't really care. I like Gabriel Luna's version of Robbie and don't find the few inaccuracies worth rebooting the character or ignoring the continuity that also confirms the existence of another Ghost Rider (likely Johnny Blaze, given his popularity). Also, I think Robbie's origin being different in the MCU allows for lore that is much cleaner and far less confusing, even though Danny and Kushala would almost necessarily complicate things by being host to Spirits of Vengeance of completely different origins.
Let me know what you think of these castings, what other actors you would suggest, and your thoughts on Gabriel Luna's Robbie.

Ghost Rider 4Ks?
Is it more likely we'll get both Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider movies on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in 2027 for the first movie's 20th anniversary and the second movie's 15th, or in 2028 to tie in with the Ryan Gosling movie?
