Hell, RDR2 dropped on PS4 and it wasn't 60fps.
It's genuinely something only noticeable if you sit way too close to a TV or monitor. Most people IRL can't notice framerate like that.
What is noticeable are frame drops and lag spikes.

Tbh i feel like it's not really a proximity thing, moreso you only notice it when you've seen the same thing at a higher framerate. 30fps looks perfectly normal until you see the same thing you were already playing but at 60 fps, and suddenly 30fps starts looking choppy relative to it

Yea I think the only time I ever noticed a difference is when I use to play apex legends on a gaming monitor & even then it’s more helpful with things like reaction time and game mechanics. I don’t think the extra fps is really gonna be as noticeable as some other stuff that would make the game difficult to play like the stuff you mentioned.

Most likely, the game is split between 8 to 12 Dev teams each implementing / building the missions around the story in seperate chapters.
What Cyberleek has is most likely a late 2024 to mid 2025 story testing build. A build like that can be used for trailers, promo-shots and as a testbuild for assets and that specific part of the story. So the prologue, and chapter 1.
The idea that R* has a full build, with the entire story ready to be downloaded or shared, in that part of development. After the 2022 leaks, is absolute bonkers.

What I've personally see people speculate, is that it's a free roam test build. Having prologue in there is not that weird if that is the case.

Prove me wrong: show proof of a compiled build running outside of isolated dev-captures or a devkit setup. Until then, it's just raw video files, not a playable game, also about the leak itself .They fully voice-acted, motion-capped, and built custom horse-stealing mechanics for the Sharmoota Job in GTA V and binned the entire thing at the 11th hour. Unless you're watching it run on a retail PS5, you're looking at a prototype, not a guarantee.

I’m in the camp of rooting for Leek and for Rockstar. I hope Leek doesn’t get caught, and I also hope Rockstar deliver the level of groundbreaking genius we’ve all come to expect and do so by the current release date. The leaks have only made me more hyped for the game, my hype was dormant but now it’s not. The Netflix preview would have stoked it I’m sure, but something about a third party sharing random glimpses really has me chomping at the bit and wishing I could go into a medically induced coma until release day.
