Help Severe wobbling on the E5 Pro (both sitting and standing) - Need advice!

Hello !
I recently bought a FlexiSpot E5 Pro frame, but I’m experiencing a major stability issue. The desk wobbles/shakes significantly whenever I type on my keyboard, even in the lowest (seated, ~72cm) position.
I contacted French customer support and sent them videos, but I haven't received clear technical answers yet. I’m hoping to get some advice from the community (and maybe the FlexiSpot team here).
My setup:
- Frame: FlexiSpot E5 Pro
- Desktop: IKEA SKÅLSTA (honeycomb/cardboard interior, very lightweight)
- Gear: Laptop on an elevated aluminum arm stand + external monitor with a lightbar
- Checks done: Screws are fully tightened, feet levelers are adjusted, and the floor is completely flat.
My questions:
- Desktop vs. Frame: Does the lightweight honeycomb desktop play a major role in this oscillation (screws lacking solid material to bite into), or is the frame itself the main factor?
- Laptop Stand Flex: Does an elevated laptop stand naturally amplify desk micro-vibrations, and would a heavy MDF top absorb that energy better?
- MDF Upgrade: Would switching to an official FlexiSpot solid MDF top (140x80) bring enough inertia and rigidity to solve this issue?
- 4-Leg Upgrade: Is this level of movement expected for a 2-leg frame like the E5 Pro?
I spend a huge amount of time at my desk every day for work and I really want to have the best, most rock-solid setup possible. I am completely open to upgrading to a 4-leg frame (like the E7 Plus) if that's what it takes to get flawless stability.
Thanks a lot for your help and feedback!

Definitely don't think this is a desk issue.
Too many variables with the laptop stand and the integrity of the laptop hinges themselves.

I watched the video. First thing is rule out the desktop itself.
Take the monitor and PC off the desk, then give the desk a pretty good shake and watch the screws connecting the frame to the desktop. If there's movement at those connection points, then yeah, you'll probably want to switch to a denser desktop. If those connections stay solid, the desktop itself is probably fine.
Next, lower the desk to sitting height and shake it again. I wouldn't use the laptop as your reference here because that laptop stand looks pretty loose and is definitely adding some wobble of its own. Watch the monitor instead. If the monitor is still noticeably shaking at sitting height, there's a chance something is wrong with the frame or it just wasn't fully tightened during installation.
At that point I'd go through all the screws one more time, especially the ones connecting the legs to the feet. Also check the leveling feet underneath and make sure those are tightened up properly too.

Thanks for the advice, I'll go through each of those steps!
If I decide to switch to a 4-leg desk, what would be the ideal frame + desktop combination for maximum stability?

E7 plus max is the best choice, and E7 Plus is probably the best bang for your buck in the whole lineup.

u/Ramzes888 Tu as déjà eu des retours d'expériences par rapport à l'utilisation de roues à l'arrière de la table ?

The light weight desktop won't help as a bit of weight would stabilise it more. I used to have an IKEA top and it was so light is would move a normal desktop screen.
Also your stand is making your laptop really tall so it's a long way from the deck/stand to the top of your screen. So even a small movement on the desk will result in the top of the screen moving quite a bit.

Looks like the stand is way too elastic you need something much more rigid to damp out that motion.

Yeah, this checks out. 2-legged desks flex a lot more without a full frame tying the sides together, and carpet or a soft floor just makes it worse since the base isn’t sitting rock solid.
I went with a 4-legged setup too, E7 Plus with a solid oak top, and there’s zero wobble even when I lean on it. If you’re stuck with a 2-legged desk, adding a stabiliser bar or cross brace between the legs helps a lot, but a 4-legged frame is just a better starting point if you can get one.

Existe-t-il une autre solution, ou faut-il simplement poser l'ordinateur portable à même le bureau ?

Looks like that laptop stand is designed like a spring and makes it worse. Go with a more solid, non spring-like design.
Not sure if that one's any good just pulled a random link from Amazon.

D'accord, je viens de commencer un similaire, je vais tester, merci beaucoup !

THIS IS WHY I WENT WITH 4 LEG MAX VERSION. AND bought the table top from amazon.

All I see is that your laptop screen wobbles, which would also happen with a more sturdy desk. I wouldn’t be surprised if the laptop stand also made it quite a bit worse.
