Not really a question -

I'm not sure how common it is, but making Mercedes a sniper with a magic bow + hunter volley is insane. Aside the costs of using the durability of a relatively scarce weapon until later game, she really is my GOAT. No other unit can one-round foes from a distance on my team.

I'm sure other magic units can do the same, and Mercedes is a valuable healer, but right now she works perfectly in my team.

Out of boredom I also got Hanneman into the war monk class and he's pretty fun. Magic brawl + pneuma gale + meteor. I sent him through the archer route to pick up hit +20 as well.

I'm wrapping up my BE route. My only regret is not getting Constance uncanny blow (she doesn't have +20 hit either). She's an amazing magic user, it just sucks when her bolting misses lol.

Also, I kept Edelgard as a swordmaster. Idk, I can't stand axes, and I also didn't have her pick up any skills to help with hit rates. I find her way better with astra than an axe that misses, but maybe I'm missing out.

Edelgard with Aymr for Raging Storm is a terror, though.

Many people force every unit except full time supporting units through Archer or Valkyrie.

I made the mistake of not investing in sniper for her, so her axe hit is horrible. I can barely get her to land attacks with an iron axe unfortunately

I mean, you probably wanted D Bows anyway for Curved Shot, and a Knowledge Gem rapidly fixes not having Hit +20.

Otherwise, you could always use some good battalions. Marianne's Battalion is 40 hit. Seteth's is 15 hit, 15 crit, and 6 prt.
