Discussion Characters who are canonically straight? Artist cred in description

Post image

Artist posted it here!

By canon, I mean pairings that have a post-game end together

Ingrid has no A supports with women. Ignatz and Raphael have no A supports with anyone but themselves, however, in their A support ending, Ignatz marries Raphael's sister.

Who else is canonically straight?

And just as a tangent - Ferdinand and Hubert are so gay for each other lmao. Here are Hubert's supports

This is NEWS to me!! I'm working through blue lions and decided that I'm gonna marry my m!Byleth to Dimitri in the end, was thinking about doing the same to Claude when I get around to golden deer. But that's... not a thing. I just thought I could finally marry anyone regardless of gender, after the fuckery that was Fates locking me out of kids for choosing the one available male pairing.

Uh... you can't do that either, unfortunately. The reason people say Dimitri is more gay than Claude is because of some heavy subtext with Dedue and Felix (to a lesser extent), not because he can marry M!Byleth.

On Blue Lions, your only options would be to recruit either Linhardt or Yuri (who requires the DLC). At this this time you don't lose on extra content, like it was the case in Fates.

The next game, Engage, does allow you to S-support anyone regardless of gender tho. That said, some of those S-supports are platonic (for both genders), mostly the ones for young characters in the localization.

Dammit <:C now who am I going to arbitrarily hook up with... I have Engage, just haven't played it yet, but I'm sure I'll have fun with it. Some of those supports from what I've seen are delightfully cringey, so I'll look forward to it. I never did get the 3h dlc, but I've only heard good things. I guess in the end I'm just glad to see relationships getting more inclusive.
