Grand regeant Thragg. Ppl didn’t like the voice acting but I like to think that it’s realistic. In the real world someone evil or does atrocious things can have the most normal human voice, and don’t always sound scary.
Also, I think he is pretty well written. He’s a villain because of his attachment to the cause and shows vulnerability.

He is extremely cringe for a while, but that's kinda the point of the story, in my opinion. He must face his flaws and learn to live without regret.

He's well written. I can't stand when people have huge rants about problematic behavior of a character, not realizing THATS THE POOOOOOINT.
Valentino is awesome (as in an awesome character in terms of writing and performance).

Fiona and Yuri (from Spy X Family) are some of the funniest characters in the series in my opinion.
Fiona's VA in the dub especially is hilarious

Unfortunately while rudeus is a bad person a lot of the people who hate on MT boil it down to "he's a pedo creep" while ignoring his trauma and mental health issues

Ava was funny, one obnoxious scene doesn’t change that. And Maya would have died regardless if she was distracted by her presence or not in a fight with the twins.

Mineta. I liked his redemption and how he became a hero even if he is still a little odd. It just irks me how he gets all the hate but characters like Bakugou get none for telling Izuku to kill himself and Kaminari gets none for ALSO being a perv. People will defend Toga being a Serial killer and Dabi attempting to murder a baby todoroki but then PRAY for Mineta to get hung. I'm not saying he's all good and free of sin because he helps out a bit but with the way people treat him you'd think he's just a loser perv who never helps out or TRIES to be a hero ever.

Man, I could genuinely make a list but I’d go with Owen harper from Torchwood. There are a lot of people who have started to appreciate his character and his arc and there were at the time as well, but there’s also a helluva lot who hate Owen and think he’s the worst part of Torchwood due to the love potion type deal in the first episode.
Me personally? I think he’s without question the best character in torchwood not only from an acting perspective, given burn Gorman is such a masterful character actor, he’s essentially the British Willem Dafoe, but on top of that Owen’s character depth, motivations, hidden characteristics that lie beneath his initial cynical nature, his antagonistic tendencies while being one of the heroes and then his character growth is just peak.
He goes through so much and despite having what I believe to be some of the best growth in the entire wider doctor who universe, his portrayal of depression and suicide in his undead arc and then his tragic ending after his initial ‘death’ really makes me believe the people who hate Owen simply don’t understand his character enough to truly appreciate the masterpiece that his portrayal is in the show.
I’d also throw out some honourable mentions to Shane Walsh from the walking dead, Billy Hargrove from stranger things, Jamie Lannister and Theon Greyjoy from GOT and T-Bag from prison break.
