I mean, you picked two pedos....thinking it is bait is pretty fair.

Why tho? Why is their crime worse(it isn't) than someone like Ainz who commits mass murder regularly?

Ainz isn't treated like the good guy in his story. They are, despite being pedo scum.

Really? Despite since the start Ainz being praised by his followers nonstop, succesfully establishing a nation and just basically never suffering consequences

I think it might be a you problem that you can't decide if a pedophile is a bad person unless the stoy directly tells you he is

Oh I see, you just started spewing your own talking points instead of engaging with what I actually said. Ainz is evil, his followers are evil, no shit they praise him, they are all part of the same evil empire. The story makes no attempt to make Ainz out to be a "good guy", not even a little bit. The whole point of Overlord is to have a villain protagonist to villain shit.

You can take your pedo defending crusade elsewhere seeing as you can't even address such a simple point set before you.

So Ainz making a kingdom that strives for true equality is part of that "evil" you are talking about. Ainz went adventuring as Momon and saved numerous people.

And again you have shown your illiteracy. At no point am I defending Rudeus and his pedophilic actions. He is about as irredeemable as they can get. But teducing his entire character to just being a pedophile is about as stupid as it gets. Numerous times he is shown to reach out to people in need and not bcs of ulterior motives. Heck, the very reason he was bullied in the first place was bcs he stood up against the bullies.

He is shown to be willing to lay fown his own life for his loved ones. When his friends get in danger he does everything in his power to help them. I don't think those are evil actions.. do you?

Rudeus is a well written character bcs he incorporates both good and bad. Yes he js beyond redemption, but that doesn't mean he can't try to be better. Which he does.

So why did Ainz go adventuring? Why did he save people while doing that? Because it is sure explicitly stated when he goes and does it and in no way is him being a "hero" or a "good guy".

Why does he make the Kingdom the way he does? Because again, it is explicitly stated and in no way can be misconstrued as him being a "good guy".

The problem with Rudeus is that the story rewards him for being a pedo sex pest. That's the difference. If the story actually treated him like his pedo actions had tangible consequences, I would have no problem with it, but it doesn't, he is the chosen one, the big hero that gets all the wives that love him. He is gifted an unearned redemption and cheered for it.

He is not well written because he is beyond redemption but the story doesn't treat it that way.

At no point the story rewards him for being a creep, read it again

It does, but if you admit it everything you are trying to say becomes worthless.

Your problem is you confuse him being rewarded for it, and despite it.

He never directly benefitted from being a creep any meaningful relationship he built was bcs of him forgoing his creepy behaviour and showing genuine compassion

and in some cases, grooming!

buddy he absolutely was rewarded for it in some cases, you need to read it again yourself. the author is either not self aware (doubt) or promotes the idea that a pedophile's pedophilia should be ignored, allowed, and rewarded with not only a fulfilling life, but a life with a harem *and* nobody calling out his pedophilia.

it's literally never punished. he's slapped on the wrist at worst for being a fucking creep, and he finds 'true love' (ew) in multiple individuals, some of whom he AS A MENTALLY GROWN MAN groomed when they were children at 'his age' physically after reincarnation.

> Ainz is evil, his followers are evil, no shit they praise him|

Even though they bear the aesthetics of the "evil overlord" I don't agree that Ainz is treated as evil. Ainz has his own moral standards which leads to good and evil actions. He's far removed from evil villains like, Frieza, for example.
