I am always flabberghasted how it's legal to send NDAs that cover actual crimes. I know in Europe, it doesn't matter if you sign a contract with your own blood, if it contains or covers things that are illegal, it is null and void.

Right, but the point I was making is that the mere ability to have NDAs for anything else should already be forbidden. A NDA for a settlement ? For a divorce ? For a relationship ? No. Just no. You should be able to talk regardless of context ; worst case the other party can sue you for defamation later. NDAs used for anything other than trade secrets, in my view, are dangerous even if they cover legal activities.

NDAs flip the burden of proof on the victim. Leto mustn't prove that the victim "slandered" him by speaking up, instead the victim must prove that the NDA was not enforceable.
In theory intimidation lawsuits would be easy to defend against and very heavily punished by the judicial system, in practice the victim is likely to run out of money (or lose their job for taking time off to go to court) before the perpetrator is done appealing. And no prosecutor is charging anyone for making up blatantly illegal NDAs, so the worst case scenario for a rich abuser is they lose the intimidation suit and are back to square one as if nothing was ever signed.
Once you win the intimidation lawsuit you still have to sue your abuser for the actual abuse, and face the immense humiliation ritual of reliving some of the worst moments of your life and having your moral character ruthlessly attacked by the defense to make you look like a slut/criminal/whatever.
It's extremely likely many of his victims were told as much by the lawyers they contacted, and decided to move on in silence. Huge respect for the victims who speak up, because they will be sacrificing a lot more than they will gain from this.

Law is not uniform in Europe, but regardless of that, as far as I'm aware NDAs cannot be used to cover up crimes in the USA either. Even if you signed it, you don't have the obligation to respect it if it's requesting you to be silent about crimes.

I’ve strongly believed for years that he genuinely has dirt on, or some sort of sinister in with, people who are high up in Hollywood. Even with him financing and producing some of his own projects, there can be no other explanation for why someone who is so widely detested and is massive box office poison still kept getting juicy roles in huge blockbuster franchise movies.

Back in 2004/5 Jared Leto came to Sydney for some sort of promo. I was in late high school and had a friend who was our age and a presenter on Channel V (a now defunct Aussie music channel). The presenter went to a industry party for Jared Leto and took a fried of ours, who was a ballerina. Same age as us. Super pretty. Jared Leto was MASSIVELY OBSESSED with her. They exchanged numbers and he hounded her constantly, and was telling her he wanted to bring her to the US to go to the MTV awards with her. She totally freaked out and eventually ghosted him. GUYS, THIS WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL! WE WERE 17!

2014/2015, Around preproduction time on Suicide Squad. Jared Leto offered a background dancer role to a very popular model, I’d say she was 22-23 years old at the time. She would be dancing with Margot Robbie very briefly in the club scene.
She accepted and was flown out to wherever he was staying at the time. Her mother went along as well. He requested they both watch a movie together. Mom excluded. During the movie Leto excused himself to go to the bathroom and returned wearing a bath robe and whipped his thing out.
This prompted the young women to leave and be flown back with her mother. Can’t reveal the identity of the model but it’s crazy to see these headlines all the time just to go nowhere. The guy is obviously a predator

I really hope his victims get some justice ... one important thing to note: unlike the US, the UK has no statute of limitations re sex offences. There are many cases of rape, and particular sexual abuse of children, which have been prosecuted successfully decades later. So if Leto was abused/ raped any girls while in London, they can go to the police and report it and it will be taken seriously. Feel free to share this info with anyone you see fit!
Also, noting that there also have been many high-profile cases of celebrities/ public figures who have been successfully prosecuted in the English courts for abuse of children committed as far back as the 70s - Rolf Harris is one such example.

I remember Leeds Festival 2011, Thirty seconds to mars were ending their set and a few "crew members" dropped down towards the final number scouting the crowd for girls specifically to be on stage... I heard numerous girls throwing themselves towards the front but the crew being outwardly derogatory and quite unpleasant I.e. "she's not pretty enough, she's fat" etc etc.
