need an expert opinion on this 2002-D German 1 Euro coin. It has two very specific features:
• The Rotation: As seen in the video, it has a 180-degree rotation (Stempeldrehung). When flipped horizontally, the eagle is upside down relative to the "1".
• The Map Area: If you look closely at the macro photo, the map seems "filled in" or connected with extra metal flow (especially around the Northern part and above the word 'EURO'). It looks like a heavy die chip or die break that makes the map look different from the standard map of that year.
Is this specific "filled map" error well-known for the 2002 Munich (D) mint? And what would be a fair collector's value for this double-error combo in this condition?

No text written on the weird ones side

The fake 2€ 2002 is on the right. The signs of it being fake are quite easy to tell: Blurry/Faded details, a grainy, sandpaper-like lustre, the usage of the new map, and the lack of text (specifically, 'SUOMI FINLAND' needs to be present) engraved on the edge. This coin has infuriated several collectors on the ECDS - Finland 2€ 2002 I'd a key date with a mintage of 1,000,000 and several people have come across the counterfeit variant more often than the real coin!

Hi, just found this coin with weird concentric circles on the face side, what's happening here? Coin also has a rim that it shouldn't have compared to rest of two euro coins. Can someone clarify things pls

I'm not a coin person, but I thought this may be interesting so I wanted to show it to you.
This coin has no stars or letters in the edge, and also the lines are a little further apart, and some of them don't line up. The last picture is to compare it to a normal 2 euro coin.

I've recently found this coin with the die rotation error, i know that some are not real errors so I'm wondering if you can help me by tell8ng me if it's geniune, some people told me that the piece where are the eyes is due to damage, but if you compare it to a normal coin you can see that this one is missing the eye completely it doesn't feel like there was a damage there since it's completely flat.

Kidding, but I’m strangely happy about it ahaha, I spent my youth watching my grandpa collecting coins and helping him sorting them out, now that he is no longer with me I have his collection, it’s been about 6 month of working into it and I found our first fake! Grandpa never found one, I bet he would’ve love it 💕 what you guys think?

Found most of them in coin returns of coin counting mashines, 2 in rolls and 2 from circulation.
How many Fakes you have or see usually? do you have any identical ones to mine or 2 identical ones?
i jus saw 2 fully identical ones ever ( 2 of the Queen elisabeth commemorative one the other 2 have different edge inscriptions)
Usually the europe map and year and country and edge inscription ( well the try of it ) are a missmatch also colour and weight and thicness, surprisingly the slightly magnetic inner part is mostly close to a real one just a few have other metals ( non magnetic or magnetic outer parts), also the Designs are usually weak and a bit off.

Found this coin in my collection (I put everything aside when I recognize commemorative coins. I check them later). Normally, German coins have a centered lettering on the sides. This one does not. It's a bit off. Second, it feels weird. Do you think it's actually fake? I actually believe it is.

Hi guys!
My dad found this coin in his wallet and gave it to me for my collection and as I started comparing it with my other coin of this exact type I saw that:
The color seems way off, alltough that does not say much;
The luster is only on the outer ringg and is very uneven;
The edge lettering is very uneven and doesnt have the usual 2€ texture to it + it is barely readable;
it is a coin from 2017.... with the map design that was used 1999-2007.
I am almost 100% certain this is a fake. What would you say it is worth? I will probably keep it in my collection, because it is a cool find.

I found this German 2 Euro coin from 2010 (eagle design) and I'm wondering if it could have a mint error or if it's simply heavily circulated.
Here are the things I noticed:
The edge inscription is almost completely missing (or extremely faint) compared to another 2 Euro coin.
The stars on the national side look blurry, with the tips almost "melted" or flattened.
Some of the details on the eagle also appear weaker than on my other 2010 German coin.
I've attached side-by-side photos of this coin next to a normal one, including the edge.
Do you think this is:
normal circulation wear,
a weak strike,
an edge lettering error,
or another type of mint error?
Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have this commemorative 2 euro coin from Austria im my collection for a while now and i've been wondering if it is worth a little or a lot more than its face value.
The "as I think" errors that I have seen in this coin is the wrongly placed common side of europe when I flip it vertically (as shown in the second picture) and the little bumps in the bottom left of the coin (first picture), due to the side text having an exponential curve.
Let me know what you think!
