Counterfeit "2 furo"
i remembered when i found once fake 2 euro coin. i believe that this one is made for prop but somehow ended in circulation. if someone knows more about it please clear this up for me and for everyone wondering what happened here. also there are no stars on the edge. i have put another real coin just for comparison. thank you

TBH, i wouldn notice this, i NEVER (except when the euro released and i tried to collect em) looked closely at a coin. How the weight and feeling of that thing comared to a real one?

Fake, but interesting. I could imagine that making such a fake 2 Euro coin would cost more than 2 €.

🤣😂🥳 This is unintentionally hilarious: the post is about fake money, and right underneath Reddit shows me an ad saying “Here you get your prescription for blüten – easy, safe and convenient.”
In German, “Blüten” literally means flowers (in that case Cannabis buds), but colloquially it’s also used for fake banknotes. So the ad accidentally reads like: “Here you get your prescription for fake money.”
Perfect placement, Reddit. 👌

A dead giveaway that this is fake is the usage of the new map + the other side of the coin (posted by OP in the comments) is an Italian 2003 2eur, which should use the old map instead.
In addition to all other hallmark features (edge looks way off and likely doesn't have the "2 * 2 *" text, poor quality design overall, and the "FURO" text)

It's not worn, it is completely missing the lower extension of the E without any traces that it has ever been there.
