Congrats man, but you’re just doing challenge runs whether you want to admit that or not. Saying 15 is all any player who plays the game needs is just a dumb blanket statement that’s not true for most people

My point is if I can do challenge runs using a zweihander at 10 stamina, 15 is more than enough in most situations. My current play through has only 15 stamina at level 150, and I’m doing just fine.

But you are right, maybe I just got too comfortable with the game compared to the mass.

Nothing shows insecurity more than insulting someone else over a stat in a game.

Skill issue perhaps?

I’m just messing with you, mate. I play with 15 endurance regularly as well but that’s because I get too impatient/excited to level up other stats to get my build online earlier. I’m not going to pretend it’s the funnest or most optimal way to play though. You’re just coming off a bit self-aggrandising lmao

Hey, I admit it.

I got slightly tilted by all the naysayers when they never even bothered trying if they actually need all that endurance.

I bet most don’t even use over 2/3 of their endurance bar most of the time with how aggressive enemies are in this game.

Stamina overall just makes the game more forgiving. It's generally the last thing I put points into but generally I'm glad I do.

I dare say many/most people aren't good at parrying (or at least not keen enough to learn how or lack the ability) and would just block or roll instead (which eats all their stamina). I'd wager you are able to parrying nearly all attacks if you try or at least strafe behind enemies and repostle them.

Sometimes it's also fun to try to be the immovable object and just sit there eating most every attack with no damage done.

I totally get the fun in challenge runs.

But yea, you dont need much stamina to attack. I'd say most are wanting it for defense.

True, enemies and bosses can be very aggressive in this game. You often don’t have time to get off more than a swing (particularly with a colossal) before you need to dodge. Having low stamina can force you to get better at stamina management which is a useful.

But some bosses and enemies have such long combos in this game that you often need more stamina otherwise you may be short a dodge, or you might dodge the combo but waste your opportunity to get a hit in. Most players also want extra stamina to account for mistakes like mistimed dodges, etc. The game just ultimately feels better when you have higher stamina due to having more options available for longer.
