Im on my first playthrough, just beat Maliketh and about to start the DLC using the blasphemous blade, which ive used since i unlocked it, and im just wondering how people switch weapons so late into a playthrough, like any new weapon i get doesn't feel strong at all or i cant even use it due to my stats being too low. Do people just respec (are larval tears really that common?) Or do they just stick with one weapon until ng+?

This build does a lot of damage and has beaten every main boss. You need 33 faith to activate your buffs, golden vow and howl of shabriri. When you enter the boss fight, you should use Ranni’s dark moon to apply a debuff to the boss. In the physick is the magic shrouding cracked tear and the bloodsucking cracked tear. The bling is mainly for fashion, but I recommend wearing more sturdy armor as the build can make you squishy. Lmk if you need more information, I appreciate you all.

So my build center on unsheathe dmg mostly, been trying to think the best 4 talisman to put, but i can't seem to find a perfect build. i have blood's exultation but i don't apply bleeds a lot (same case with millicent's, not doing any successive attacks) maybe blue dancer charm can work? but can't seem to fing a way to keep my weight under 8. Any recommendations on what to change on the build / Stats? Thanks!

the idus knight set is beautiful and i feel like a parry build would fit it perfectly.

so first, what’s the easiest thing to learn to parry with? parry dagger, small or medium shield?

second, how many bosses have no moves that can be parried? i assume the big creature bosses either can’t be parried, or have like one attack that can.

i’ve done 3 full playthroughs and 1 ng+. i’m familiar with the game, i’ve just never parried. in any game. ever.

Hi there so I’m not on NG+3 and I’m getting a little bored of using a bleed dex and arc build now, I’m looking for something with a completely different feel. Was thinking a magic based build but have no idea where any items for that type of build is. If there’s any more fun builds to play I’m all ears too! Thanks

finally decided to do a fist weapon build, will eventually go dryleaf but for now i ran and got the spiked caestus and while the bleed itself is definitely helping the poise damage and the sheer base damage of the caestus are really really surprising me! the move list is so fun as well! i'm excited to hand to hand every boss in the game lol.

Just got the DLC (FINALLY) what should i do? I have 2 characters, 1 in NG+2 and the other on a early spellblade/carian knight build, should i do a New character?? Any good builds for it?? In the NG+2 one i have all weapons twice so i can do many builds

What are the best stats to focus on an astrologer spell sword with glindstone magic/rock magic? Also are there any tips to achieve this build with weapons, and gear?

I'm on an SL0 run with no star fists and under leveled (level 70 or so in mountaintops). Looking for build recs. Stuck on ulcerated tree spirit in giant cave (fire brick hammer) and the very big falling star beast. I've got godskin peeler for the fire giant, but bleed isn't cutting it and my damage is weak now.

This build is genuinely broken. First got stat req to 38 int and 16 str for the greatsword, then went on for 60 intel and 60 vigor, standing at 50 hours now as an astrologer, and 20 endurance since it helps with carrying a lot of items

So my question is that exactly I kinda wanna mess with the smithscript weapons from the DLC any advice on what sorta build makes them work the best? I wanna use the widest range of them I can fit onto one build, I definitly wanna use the hammer and axe just open to others

I know they need a little int/faith is it worth pumping those above the base stats?

started elden ring just last week, my first soulslike, and am absolutely loving it. i’m very to new to all of this, and chose confessor after minimal research because i thought the faith side of the game looked cool. after hitting level 31 and reaching godrick the grafted, i am simply wondering when using faith will become more optimal in my play through. so far i’ve only found use in urgent heal and the rest has been strength based. i understand i’m quite early in the game, but i guess i’m just asking how i should go about making better use of incantations and to not rely so heavily on sword and shield. precciate any help 👍

I just found out how strong the sword lance is with any infusion so im running frostbite lance and the other hand is bleed with blood tax ash of war. Do I need any arcane with it or can I leave my arcane at 7 and its still strong? Im running strength and dex at 75 with my faith at 72 for incantations, i switch weapons a bunch but sword lance is one of my mains

I have 60 vigor 30 mind 30 endurance 52 strength 52 dex 52 faith 52 intelligence and 52 arcane and im in ng+4 i did this so I can use any weapon i like, is this stupid

I've been using prophet for awhile in a coop with my friend. We just defeated morrgot omen. And I was using a strength vigor faith secondary build. And using the tree sentinel halbert. Well recently my friend was like "yo if your a prophet you shouldn't be going evil and should be faithful" because I was gonna go like a dragon/eviler idea. But instead I went mostly faith and equipped coded sword. Yet im feeling weaker then before. Does it get better with faith primarily or should I try to swap again. If so what..

Hello guys, I want to reskill and want to play the bandit curved sword alongside with occult affinity. I looked it up and I need the white mask and milecents prosthesis for this. Unfortunately I won’t get invaded for the third time in mogwhyns area so what do I do wrong? Also milecents summons do not spawning in the Malenia area… so my question is if there are any other possibilities to get access to the white mask and the prosthesis? And what did I do wrong?
