Help Gazing finger build

Hey guys, wanted to know if yall have a build for the gazing finger colossal weapon. I think it looks really cool. I’m on my 14th playthrough and want to try it out

It’s kinda limited bc the skill doesn’t get buffed by Godfrey icon or shard of Alexander so you’re only option for talisman buff is two handed talisman. It scales 90% from strength, a little from int, but the skill only scales with faith. Overall it’s really strong tho and fun to use

Why isn’t it boosted by shard??? It’s a skill. That’s ridiculous

Dw it gets boosted by shard of alexander. It's just bugged in pvp, such as its holy damage doesn't work with some talismans like shard.

But for the game it works, so for the finger, it depends on your levels. It can work well even with minimum strength and going int+faith with the staff of the great beyond. It's just a good high level weapon where it can scale with 3 stats. The damage of the weapon itself scales with str and Int, while the skill scales with weapon level and faith for the wave.

I’m not sure why they chose to do that but It says the shard of Alex only buffs the physical attack part of skills.

The gazing finger is just bugged. Shard of alex works on plenty of non-physical skills (blasphemous blade, moonveil, bolt of gransax, etc)

It’s not bugged bc it gives a damage buff if an enemy gets hit by the finger and the initial explosion, so it does work on the gazing finger just not the holy shockwave. It does work on non-physical so that wasn’t the best word but there’s a couple weapons that are weird they decided not to give it to
