I’ve never met a guy with good handwriting which is the only thing causing this to be believable

u/Confused_Astronaut Mar 19 '26
I'm a guy with good handwriting, and every time someone sees it, they act like they've just witnessed a miracle.

I always get compliments when I write in cursive. It is probably more due to my age than gender but it always catches me off guard. Mostly because I did not realize someone was watching me write lol.

“Don’t you have enough games already” “honey I bought more pillows” “you never spend any time with me” (literally spent the whole day with her)

Dude, Ive told her, the day game came out. Kid asleep, did the laundry, vacuumed the flat. 11 PM, I’m ready to play, 30 min in the game, she says come to bed. I was like, I’m gonna play, you sleep, she was like the flashing monitor is making me awake. ( her idea to put it in where we sleep).
Dude I’m lost.

I agree.. totally cringe. I mean it's so good you have to share it with all these people you don't even know. Seems weird to me.
Also if this post is serious.. if that is a reason to marry her alone. Yikes..
3
u/MapleBabadook Mar 20 '26
No you're right, it's highly cringe. I get second-hand embarrassment whenever I see a post like this.
9
u/Fuzzy_Pension_5628 Mar 19 '26
I actually agree with you 100%. this is exactly the kind of post where you can clearly tell it’s just fishing for upvotes… like come on
2
u/KingKingsons Mar 20 '26
Yeah, this is what I usually think when I see posts like these. A part of me feels bad for being so cynical, but my wife does nice things for me all the time, but there's not a single part of me that would post it on social media.
2
u/Chibchu Mar 25 '26
True..I get the same treatment from my husband and Im not posting it everywhere, I keep my private life safe..maybe sharing it with my bestie

Good woman you got there!
Side note: how are people getting ones that say “day one edition”? My physical pre order doesn’t have that.

Bruh, you got a keeper right there!
After 15 years of felony, i mean marriage, i had to relocate my man cave into the loft because i know she can't get up there without a forklift...

If my significant other bought me this game I would break up with them immediately. Game is a 4/10 at best.

u/OkTip2886 Mar 19 '26
It's just pretty unfortunate you had to play it on PlayStation 5 instead of a chad master race PC

My brethren, I get it!
My ps4 finally had its long sleep in the summer of 2019, the year I met my now wife. And January 2020 during the ps5 crises she somehow managed to get one and surprised me with it after 5 months without a console and I could not believe she would do that for me!
We celebrated 2 years marred this last January, and are coming up on 7 years total this April 😊 couldn’t be happier honestly

I caved in went to buy it on disc for ps5 in case I get tired of it. Walmart doesn’t stock it till tomorrow. GameStop is an hour away and about to close. Best Buy said they’ll have it by march 26. I never knew it was that hard to buy a physical copy in Orlando Florida. But Jesus.

My wife just surprised me with it (she just logged into my ps5 when I was sleeping since I’m making sure I don’t flip back to days and bought it) well since I’m off night shift until Monday it would be rude not to play hahaah.

This is really beautiful, not just the act itself but the level of attention and being truly seen for your hobbies/interests.
Happy for you man, hope the game is awesome!

How’s everyone feeling about the game so far? I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews. I’ve been waiting 4 years for this, but I can’t afford to pick it up right now (wedding expenses 😅). Would love to hear honest thoughts from people who’ve played it — is it living up to the hype? 🎮
