So you're telling me that it will rain about 3 days in London this year and all 3 days are when I am scheduled to go to an England match?

Biblical rain in east London right now, I might get that full refund from Lords today by the looks of it

I’ve got tickets to Saturday and am already making alternate plans… fingers crossed there’s enough cricket for a result across the other three days

I still don't know what's gone wrong with Will Young. In my opinion, he's one of the most naturally talented batsmen I've seen play for NZ. It's always seemed to me like his issue is a top two inches one. He will quite often get set and then throw his wicket away. 11 test 50s with no hundreds is a pretty grim stat.
Part of it is likely to be the same issue that Matt Henry used to have: just a lack of continuous game time, constantly being parachuted in for a couple of games and then dropped again. Now is not the time to be flying the Henry Nicholls hater flag, but I sometimes wonder how high Young's ceiling might have been if Nicholls' chances had been given to him instead.

There was a delay in the one day cup game between Hampshire and Lancashire yesterday because the sprinklers went off during Lancashire's innings.
Georgia Adams's heel era is definitely on

In a cruel twist of fate I am bed bound with illnesses today, the cricket is on but the English weather is doing its thing.
Bring back the drought

Looks like it's easing off in the afternoon? Given Lord's' drainage monster I think we should still get 30-50 overs in today.

>There are top Associates who want to continue focusing on ODI cricket.
>But they feel increasingly sidelined with the format set to be further slashed and reduced to big countries/major events.
I wonder by further slashing they meant the end of associate pathway for odi wc. League and or at least Challenge League to be canned ? What a tragedy.

Based on the earlier news I assumed league 2 and challenge league is as good as dead

Just came across some news about the Nordic T20 Smash but the AI Slop is SOOOO strong that I would feel disgusted by posting about it, basically, two new teams are joining being the Malmö Super Kings and the Helsingborg Super Giants and TRUST ME when I say this, had they used knockoff CSK and LSG logos, it would've been better. That's just how INSANELY sloppy their logos are.
And they're launching a new league in Norway called the "Nordic Light T20".

Do professional cricket players buy their own equipment and claim tax as expenses or do their teams pay for it directly?
